Chapter Sixteen Watery Ghostly Figures The rain pounded the ocean, making a sound like bullets. The sky was black as rolling, thundering clouds clashed into one another like giants at war. Lightning revealed the colossal waves. They crashed together, making deafening sounds of destruction. India raised her shark-fin head out of the water. She looked like a tiny floating cork inthe enormous one-hundred foot swell. It was dark; the sun was nowhere to be seen.
