My eyes are seriously straining against the light to the point that I’m starting to see spots in my vision. Thankfully enough, Kathleen’s makeup mayhem has finished. The times she’s told me to look up but not actually look up and also the times she’s had to poke my eyes are now over. Ugh, these fake eyelashes are so damn heavy.
I stand up, holding down my arm to not rub my face and ruin Kathleen’s hours-long makeover, and start slipping myself into the dress.
