"You're saying it's two girls?" Kaden asked, pacing around his office.
"Yes, I offered them water, and the one of them hit me at the back of the head," she said painfully.
"Did they take anything?" he asked, looking around.
"I can't be sure," she said, shaking because she was sure he'd fire her.
"You're sure there was nobody else?" he continued to ask as he looked in his safe for his important things.
"Your friend, the dark-haired one, came looking for you but he didn't even enter the house."
He opened his drawer and froze when he saw his file missing. "Damn it," he cursed, sending her off. He picked up his phone and dialled Nathan's number.
