Zach POV
Kerris walks away, and Tyrel's eyes follow her with such shameless lust. Without thinking, I move casually to stand in front of him, blocking his view of the girl.
He strains to look some more, but I'm completely in the way. My fists shake with, and I quickly push one hand into my pocket to stifle the violent urge to attack him for no reason.
"You didn't forget my warning, did you?"
"How can I forget?" He replies, then rubs his neck unconsciously. "Look, Uncle Zach. I'm angry at her for betraying me, that's why I called her names the other day. I don't usually do that.
