Chapter eleven:Awkward issues

Gabriel didn’t come home last night.It was already 10:am when he showed up,he found Becky standing at the door way.

“What happened are you ok”he asked concerned

“Here...”she said handing him today’s news papers

“i don’t care to know how and with whom you’re hanging out with,but let it not drag my name along ”she said and went inside.Gabriel looked down at the papers and was not so surprised at what he saw,he just tossed it to Samson.

“Take care if it”he ordered and went inside.The papers actually had the picture of summer and Gabriel entry the hotel with a question as the headline,

‘IS THE CEO OF BROWN clothesline having an AFFAIR even though he is NOW MARRIED TO the said daughter OF NICHOLAS COLLINS?last night.

Not every one knew he was married as the wedding was just with family and friends only,he didn’t think much about it as this was not the first time was he was labeled a womanizer.He went up stairs and found Becky laying on the couch.He kept his hands inside his pants pocket,which him more calm and charming,

“About the papers....it’s not what you think,I only helped her out yesterday she was in a terrible situation so......”

Becky’s POV

Ah like I need his explanation,and what am i supposed to think?that my said husband is having and affair which is clearly not a lie,and what bloody situation was Summer in that they had to go sort out in the hotel.

“Enough I don’t care what reason maybe,I just don’t want to get involved”I said interrupting him.This time took a careful look at him,he looks somewhat thin not that much though,but he is not in the Same shape he was before,his hair was not cut either,he just looked like someone who just returned from jail,what happened to him,his brown eyes were now weak he couldn’t even stand properly.

“What?do I have something on my face”he asked stopping me from scanning him

“Just go,I don’t have the strength to waste on you right now”I said closing my eyes,honestly I wanted to tell him to go have some rest,blah who am I to tell him that.After the long look of frustration he finally left.

I was trying to zip up my dress when I had the door opened,first I thought it was Glory the new maid I hired,but when she didn’t say anything,I stretch my neck out of the dress room and found Gabriel coming towards me,

“Are you Okay?”he asked looking straight into my eyes,what was he hoping to get from it.

“What am fine,I thought it was the girl I hired.....”I stopped haft way when I saw some clothes behind him,in the bed actually,what is he thinking “what are those clothes doing here?”I asked as his eyes follow my direction

“What?this is my room,can’t I keep my clothes here”he asked in an intimidating tone,really of all days you just remembered that today that this is your room as well.i have been the one sleeping in this room right from day one and now it’s yours.

“Uh don’t tell me that,I have been in this room alone right from the wedding night,and now you just want to jump in?...tell me the reason behind it” i inquired,if not for this damn hand that is now useless for the now,I would have fling those clothes out,right now I can’t even move from this place,my back is open and this my left hand is not even doing any good,the maid,what’s she doing right now,she supposed to be here helping me out.

“Do you want anything”he asked trying to look behind me

“What is it with you,can’t you see that am not fully dressed”I said giving an embarrassing look,instead he just ignored me and went straight to my back,luckily I turned around to face him on time

“Just stay put and let me help you”he said turning my back towards himself,I couldn’t move as his fingers were on my bare back,in no time he was done and went back to the bed.He ignored me completely and continued putting his clothes inside the well designed wardrobe.

“Aherm, are you going to be staying in this room as well?...not that i have a problem but don’t you think summer will”i shrugging my shoulders like I don’t care,the truth is I have a problem with him staying the Same room with me,so to get him pissed I don’t mind bringing summer into this.

“Can you hear your speaking,...don’t you think summer will”he said in a copy cat tone

“Don’t think for once that I have anything to do with you,Argh you’re so annoying”he said in near frustration.

“Ok never mind,i not interested in you either,we can share the same bed,but i take you as my room mate”I replied coldly and left the room.

At the boutique,Andy was checking out some shoes when a young man about same age as Gabriel and a familiar girl walked in they went straight to the canter and one of the sales girls showed them around the store,Andy quickly went to the changing room and called Becky out

“Becky,Becky you need to see who I just saw”she said pulling Becky out of the room.

“What is wrong with you,you nearly hurt my arm”Becky whispered yelled

“Sorry,but you need to see this”Andy insisted and kept dragging Becky towards the two people who just entered,

“Hey look who we have here”a familiar voice said as the two women where looking around the shop,Andy turned around and greeted.actually Becky and Andy already saw Mathew with a girl,so for them not to interfere in their business,they pretended not to notice him,main while Mathew saw them,when they walked towards his lane.

“Hey good afternoon”the girls choruses as Mathew gave them a peck on their cheeks

“It’s good to see you here,I was planning on seeing you this weekend”he said but his eyes where on Andy who was looking shy

“Really,you’re welcome anytime”Becky replies

“Ahem hmm”the girl behind Mathew coughed to get their attention

“Ah am sorry,this is my sister Vivian she is around for the weekend,so you mind she coming along with me?”Mathew ask holding Vivian’s hands.Unconsciously Andy breath a relief sigh out. “Are you okey?”Mathew asked concern

“Yeah am fine,I just remembered something”Andy answered facing down not wanting to look at his eyes.Becky just nod,not understanding what was wrong with her, ‘Andy was not the shy type beside she was the one who dragged her here,and now she is feeling shy and even blushing’Becky thought within herself as she knows that Andy was not the type who fall in love at first site.

“So what are you doing here”Mathew asked

“We are shopping,what else”Andy replied grinning

“ok then you girls shop along I will go wait at the cafe opposite,I am kinda bored in here”Mathew said he pushed his sister over to Andy and winked at her before leaving.

The girls were not talking much except when it comes to clothes and shoes stuff.

“So Who is Andy Among you two”Vivian asked breaking the silence

“I am,is anything the matter?”Andy asked a little confused

“No not at all,anyways I think my brother likes you”Vivian said honestly.Becky was shocked but managed to control her surprise but Andy was more surprised than her.

“Ah..don’t you think Mathew should be the one saying all this” Becky said shifting looks from Vivian to Andy,and Andy to Vivian.

“I know but it just the truth,anyways you’re so lucky Andy,you will be the first girl he ever had any serious relationship with if you two come together”Vivian replied making Andy blushed.

“I think this is enough,if Mathew gets to find out what you have been saying,then you’re so dead”Becky said more like she was warning her daughter against having a boyfriend.

Becky POV

Today at the dress room,when Gabriel’s fingers touched me I felt shivers down my spine,and my cheeks turned red like fresh tomato,and now at the boutique Andy is also shy of Mathew,she even blushed when Vivian said that Mathew likes her,Andy has never been this way before she is always confident in the presence of men but not today,isn’t this awkward,and strange that I even felt pity for Gabriel today,no something is about to get wrong,I better make sure it doesn’t.
