Chapter six:the life after wedding

Becky POV

Andy and I reached the said house,the lights were off.with the help of the phone touch we entered the house, I was able to find the lights switch and when it was turned on,we found our selves in a huge hall the sitting room was on the left and the dinner table was on the right close to the kitchen. “Wow babe wow! this house is as huge as theirs,and look the kitchen is well furnished and loaded with great food stuffs”Andy shouted while checking the whole place,I was happy though but the sadness in me was greater so I just walked around the sitting room looking and imagine life with my husband,whatever!

“Becky you need to see your room it unspeakably beautiful,I mean it’s gushing”Andy shoutouts from up stairs,she seems to be enjoying the tour,anyway I will take my time at least I have the whole one year to look around,

“Why don’t you come down and have a drink”I told her,and she came running like a child.I took a bottle of wine from the mini bar and poured one for me and my friend we drank still the whole bottle was down,Andy was a good drinker and I wasn’t,she new I wasn’t in the mood for talks so she kept drinking with me.

When the bottle was down Andy left me alone promised to call tomorrow.i walked sheepishly to the bedroom,though my eyes were half open,I could still see the beauty if the decor,it’s was indeed gushing,all thanks that I will the one sleeping in this king size bed Wow me!.I don’t know what I did next but I knew very well that I bolted the door and jumped on the bed.

The next morning Gabriel returned home he expected Becky to be inside so he knocked,after few minutes of knocking without getting any response so he used his own kegs,he entered the house and a strong smell of alcohol hits him he rushed up stairs in anger of keeping him waiting,he opened the bedroom door and found her sleeping,he tapped her angrily,Becky opened her eyes and saw Gabriel looking at her angrily,she was also angry that morning sleep was cut short

“What is wrong with you man?”Becky asked coldly

“What is wrong with you woman,you lock me out and when I knocked you refused to open up,what is all this attitude”Gabriel asked getting more irritated by her attitude

“Hey what is the problem how,besides you’re inside now,so if you don’t mind I was having a good sleep and I really want to go back”she said as turned back sleep when Gabriel drag her out of the bed

“This is my room...go choose one of the other rooms”he yelled

all the sleep vanished instantly and her eyes become wide open as hell

Becky POV

Who the hell did he think he is? Uh he is just a husband in name for me,what the heck!

“Hello mister,is there confusion from the place you came?”I asked roughly

“Wow great right? no girl dare say words to me like that,so watch your tongue”he barked

“Hello!! Is someone missing,I mean I am not one of your stupid girls okay,am Becky,and Becky doesn’t have rules talking you people like you,and as for this room it’s mine,this is my matrimonial room and if you’re not comfortable with sharing the same room then go stay at the guest rooms,I believe there’s lots of rooms in this house,so suites your self”I said and went to the bathroom.

Gabriel was angry at the same time surprise by attitude,without much thinking he left the room.Becky was done with her makeup when Gabriel entered he gave her a disdain look and went to the bathroom,when he returned,he saw Becky on call,she chatted freely sometimes smiles though it looks fake and her laugh was that of pain,for a moment Gabriel was watching her with total focus not until he gets a phone call and left the house.

It’s now afternoon,Becky has been receiving calls from her friends who some how heard that she got married so called her so as to confirm it themselves,Becky did not hesitate to tell them the truth either,but she did not explain anything to them,telling herself that it was non of their business,besides if they find out the way she got married,they would not even spare a single stone unturned in disgracing her.After the calls she went to the kitchen and prepared some dinner for herself,soon she received a call from Andy

“Hello.....how was your night”Andy asked

“My night was awesome,not until the bat decided to ruin it this morning,can you imagine what he did.....”Becky told what happened that morning to Andy and discuss some other business like topics since she was now planning to get a job here since she was now married and can’t go back abroad.

“Why don’t you talk you your Dad about it,it might cut the stress and inconvenience”Andy suggested

“I don’t want to talk to him,not even now”Becky replied

“Come on stop being a child,it’s just business talks nothing more,moreover he is your dad and will always be,so cut the crap and loosen up okay”Andy advice

“Am not going to say anything for now,anyway I am not that in a hurry to get a job,this attitude of mine need to be in control so I won’t ruin things”Becky answer

“Yeah that is a good thought,thank God your sense of humor didn’t died completely”Andy said letting out a sigh

“Who are you saying that I am that bad”Becky asked smirking

“No I mean you didn’t cross the whole limits”Andy said teasing

“Oh! so was I going to cross the line before now?”Becky asked faking her anger

“Ha ha.....it’s really good to have you back Becky” Andy remarks

“Yeah Yeah,am not even planning to be me for the now”Becky said shrugging,it was like she was telling her self.

After the call she continued her cooking when she was through she kept some in the refrigerator Incase’s Gabriel would want to eat something.

The next morning when she went the kitchen she found a note on the table saying

Don’t leave any food

I mean your ugly

Cooking,I bet it would

Taste yucky Tsk tsk.

I didn’t ask you to

Cook.

Really does he think his words affects me,such a kid! She told her self.

When she was through with the chores,she took a tour around the house,there were gardens that the back with beautiful flowers and well cut trees,she found some cleaners doing their work,she wouldn’t help but smiled a genuine smiles,Becky introduced herself to the workers and so did they after chatting with them for some time she decided to leave the house since on one was around she could go out in her pretty look.

Becky POV

When I entered the house through the back door I heard Gabriel talking to someone,the idea of changing my outfit was hacked so I have to leave the house like this looking like an old fashion girl of the 80s argh! damn you Gabriel what could have possibly made you come back so early,it’s just noontime argh!. I quickly grabbed my purse and came downstairs only to meet him and his girl friend laughing happily like silly kids.with that I just decided to take my leave as quite as possible. “Hello ma’am ,am summer,summer Benson”she introduced like she is making a joke out of me,Gabriel said nothing instead he gave me a smirk.seriously is this why he came home so early,so that she can make fun of me uh? Wrong ride girl!.

“Oh.....am winter,I don’t want you to get freeze so I will just go out”I replied sarcastically

“Show some respect,she’s my girl”Gabriel said more like a warning

“Wow I know she is your girl,and I’m your wife,so you show some respect,mister,her attitude are too cheap,right child?”I said looking at the girl who’s face was now red at the mention of ‘wife’

“You’re just a wife in name,and she is the one who my hearts beats for,can you compare this beauty with your clown face ”Gabriel said coldly,and slide his hand around summers waist which makes her to gasp

“Uh oh right,she just makes your heart beats,careful so she doesn’t beat it so fast,besides her beautiful face didn’t buy her an engagement ring...”I pause as I touch my face “.....this ugly face,bought me the tickets to a WIFE” I didn’t wait for both of them to reply,I left.

“Did she just insult me?and you did nothing”summer yelled at Gabriel as soon as her she regained her senses

“Enough if You hadn’t started,she would have left quietly”Gabriel resorted.summer agreed with in herself,and promised to humiliate Becky in public next time the opportunity comes.
