Isaac scooped Peach up from the grass and carried her across the campus, the fire was behind them and people were still shouting but he kept walking until he reached her dorm building, he pushed through the door with his shoulder and climbed the stairs one at a time, his arms were tired and his back hurt but he did not stop until he laid her down on her bed. He sat on the edge of the mattress and shook her shoulder gently, her head turned to the side and her breathing was slow and deep. "Peach," he said, "wake up." She did not move so he shook her again, a little harder this time. "Peach." Her eyes opened slowly and she blinked at him, her face was soft and confused like she did not know where she was. "Isaac?" she said, her voice was thick and sleepy. "There was a fire at the clinic,"
