Peach's legs gave out and she collapsed onto the grass, the dagger was still buried in her side and blood pooled beneath her body, her eyes were open but they did not see anything.
Harrison moved before anyone could blink, he grabbed Annie by the arm and yanked her back, his claws dug into her skin and she stumbled, nearly falling.
"What are you doing?" Annie's voice was high and breathless.
"Leave." Harrison's voice was low and hard, his gold eyes were blazing. "Now."
Annie shook her head, her hair stuck to her sweaty face. "I did this for you.”
"I did not ask for this." He pushed her away, his hand let go of her arm and she staggered back. "Go. Before I do something we both regret."
Annie stared at him for a moment, her chest was heaving and her lips were pressed together.
