His strong arms snake around my waist, and he pulls me closer to him until there is no space between our bodies.
“Bash—”
“Shhh.” He kisses me so tenderly, sucking my bottom lip into his mouth and making my toes curl. “I want more than what we’ve been doing. Is that so wrong? I want to take you places, spoil you, and have you in my bed at night. And then, I want to wake up with you in my arms and do it all over again.”
My heart beats wildly in my chest. I’m certain he can hear it or at least feel it up against him. How am I supposed to resist him when he says things like this?
“I’m not here for much longer...only one more week—“
“I know...” He sighs. “I know, so be mine while you’re here.”
His eyes search mine, and I know what he’s thinking, that I’m going to say no and walk
