A bit too friendly...

Reilah stood in her apartment's restroom, her hand clenched in anger and frustration as she gazed into the mirror. Her eyes reflected a wave of fear and disbelief. "If only I hadn't been a good actress, i would have died" she muttered to herself, remembering the cold, deadly gaze of the enigmatic stranger. "I shouldn't have stabbed him in the first place. What got over me? It was as if I was being controlled. What the hell have I gotten into?" Her whole body trembled against the ceramic wash basin. "...that's makes four questions, you should have calmed down, and i would have answered all of your question," a low, smooth voice said from behind her. Her eyes widened in surprise, but she didn't feel fear. Instead, she felt a surge of courage. "I will ask you again!, who are you?" she demanded, turning to face him. "What do you want from me?" He didn't reflect in the mirror making her heart skipped a beat. "Which should i answer first?" he asked, a hint of amusement in his voice. "Your choice.." "Welll...you can call me a ghost. And for what I want from you... well...." He took along unsettling pause. "You insolent fool!!! How dare you ask me that! You summoned me from my throne when I was about to my pear flower wine. It took me more than a hundred toll, I even post counts!!" He glared, losing his cool. (N/t: Ehwaju or pear flower wine also know as baekseolhyang is a popular wine from the Joseon Era, made by infusing peach blossoms in liquor, such as makgeolli. It takes 3-6 months depending on the person preference. Toll: A bell ringing.) "However, you smelled like a female demo_ a female in heat, since i am your partner i had no choice than to come put you at ease" he continued. "•••" Reilah stared, trying to understand. Her eyes narrowed. "I don't understand" "You're my fated partner. You summoned me summoned me from the underworld" he said "Says who?" "The prophesy. You are my fated partner..my spouse" "Partner? Prophesy?" she clenched her fist. "What relationship does the living have with the dead?, fated partner my ass... "Are you really even a ghost?" she asked, her voice coated in jest. "You have black blood, you're not transparent like ghosts are supposed to be." She scoffed. His expression turned cold. "You think you know what ghosts are like?" he sneered. "You think you've seen enough fairy tales to understand the supernatural?" He took a step closer to Reilah, his piercing ruby-red gaze glinting into hers. "I was summoned by you. The only person who has the power to summon me aside from the King of Hell, is my Spouse which is you." Reilah clenched her fists. "I don't care about your rubbish, get the hell out of my house" she spat. "And those filthy red eyes away from me" His eyes flashed with anger. "That's impossible," he growled. "For now, i can't even move a tiny distance away from you." "And why is that?" She frowned. His lips curved into a sweet grin that felt creepy to reilah. 'Can't you see the red rope connecting us?' he asked. Before she could respond, a thin, red-glowing rope materialized on her chest. It was connected directly to his. 'But you were in my room just now,' she said, confusion etched on her face. He chuckled. 'I was here all along, you were just too blind to notice me. My reflection wasn't showing, after all.'" "Then, how am i even suppose to bathe?" she asked. "When you can't move any further away from me." "What were you expecting?" he asked, his voice dripping with lust. "I am to be with you, not like i am a stranger or anything. I am your husband to be. No matter how you try to run away from me, I'm still going to see everything you are trying to hide" - his lips smug. "Aghhrrr!" he yelled, clutching his groin in agony. "Why did you kick me?" She gasped, sarcastically feigning surprise. "Oops, I had no idea ghosts had balls." "You-" . . . After hours of arguing, they came to an agreement. She stepped into the shower, the steam from the hot water evaporated from her body, carrying the sweet fragrance of petals from her soap. "Isn't the water too hot for you?" he asked, seated on the water closet. "You bastard!" she exclaimed, her anger resurfacing. "Just don't open your eyes!" He smiled wryly, thinking to himself, "I'm not that bad of a spouse, I had to close my inner eyes too." "You made me miss where i came from," he whispered, his eyes still closed. "There, I see a lot of what you're hiding..." He pouted, his lips curling into a sulky expression. Ignoring his taunt, She asked out of nowhere, her hands absent-mindedly caressing her skin with an exfoliation sponge. "I forgot to ask, what's your name?" His eyes went cold, their warmth extinguished in an instant. He waited, the silence awkward. "Call me Rei" He finally replied, obviously lying. "Oh, Rei," she said, her expression darkening. "You bastard, if you're going to come up with a name, do better than stealing the first three letters of my name!" "But I didn't steal them? It's really my name" She fumed, her voice rose in anger. "How dare you lie to me with a straight face?" She pointed an accusatory finger at him. "I'm not" Rei said bluntly, giving her a chance for another complaint. ....THE DINNING AREA... "I hate seeing your face," she muttered, her eyes fixed on him. He smirked, "I don't. You are my bride to be?" She stopped, stuffing her mouth full with the bread before her, due to frustration. "So you won't even leave a slice for me?" He pouted. "You're dead, you can't eat this!" she declared. "Is that what you think?. Don't you know that everything in this world has a spiritual version of itself?" he asked, a hint of amusement in his voice. "And that's the life it's needs.?" As he spoke, he removed a replica from the bread. Almost immediately, the bread began to rot away. After the bread rot away, he continued, "If you take a doll today and start serving it, representing it, or calling it something it's not – maybe calling it a god or making it a replica of your daughter or a lost soul – the more you serve it and the more people serve it, the spiritual energy becomes much more than just a doll. "The doll might become demonic, turn into a spirit, or a familiar. If it can also grant wishes, then we call it a lesser god. But the moment you stop serving it, most turn into resentful spirits and will hunt you down. That's how things work in the spiritual world." "That's why we need to look at things not just with our naked eyes, but in a spiritual way," he said, munching loudly on the bread soul. "What do you see in me? What does my spiritual version look like?" Reilah asked out of nowhere. He stared at her for a long time before responding. "The spiritual version of you takes the form of a de_deranged mad woman," he completed the sentence. "Cuss you!" she yelled. "Get more of this bread next time, it's nice and soft" he said, changing the subject. She took a quick glance at him. he was too friendly to be a resentful ghost ●○•THE UNDERWORLD □ DAMIEN REGION•○● The strong herbal aroma of the tea evaporated, lingering in the air of the whole room. The floor was made out of human bones, and seated on it was Damien, the second ruler of the underworld, known as the Young Master. He was the Ruler of CAIN last brother. "So, what you are trying to tell me is that my brother disappeared yesterday?" Damien asked. "Yes, Your Highness," his eunuch replied. "Did you find any information on when he went missing? And of is present location?" "No, sir," the servant replied. "No sir?" His voice turning hoarse. "Did you ask the others?" "Yes, sir. No one saw him leave," the eunuch replied. "But we are working on it sir" "You are working on it, sir?" Damien asked releasing his bloodlust. "Do you want your kids to weep of sorrow?" The eunuch trembling in pain due to the choking power he was emitting. "Just make sure you work on it" Damien smiled, sucking back in his bloodlust. "Prepare my carriage. We are heading for Cain," Damien ordered. "I will do that, sir," the eunuch replied, heading out in a hurry. =CAIN FORTRESS•○ THE UNDERWORLD= "Normally, it takes six hundred and sixty-nine bell tolls, equivalent to sixty-nine days, to reach the human world if we decide to go through the portal, but...." 66, the sixth demon General in cain was interrupted by hel, the right-hand man of Anubis, the Ruler of cain. "Just get straight to the point," he said biting his lips. "If our lord kills everybody, you are the one who reports back to the Ruler of Hell." "Völundr made an invention that can transport us to the human world in ten days, if we're lucky, it might take just a week. All we have to do is place our hand on the Transporting Gem, and it will transport our soul back to Earth. A replica body will be made for us." 69 said. "You know we can't be roaming freely on Earth on our demonic form," He continued. "It will cause chaos among the people, even if they can see us." "What type of replica body?" Hel asked. "A dead human body?" "No, the tech has improved," 66 said. "A body just like your physical form will be created, but you can change some features if you want, like increasing your ass size." He said in a taunting tone. "Sixty- six!!!" He called emmiting his demonic energy. "It was just a joke, just giving you some advice, he might like it" "Stop it!" He yelled out, turning red. The atmosphere suddenly turned serious. "A body was created for our Lord with a stronger material." "He needs it," Hel replied. A shadow emerged from the ground, and one of the lower guards appeared, kneeling on the floor. "2nd general, the Young Master is there," the person reported. "Damien, that bastard," Hel gritted. "Summon all the generals, infact everybody in both the inner and lower palace now!!"
