First Day in work

Today is my first day at work. Thanks to Pierce I'm able to find one. Yesterday after we went to the shop we get along and had window shopping downtown. The place here in the city is good I won't deny that. But there still a part of me misses Vanzarth.

It's still 8 am in the morning so I should start getting ready because I don't want to be late on my first day that would be a bad shot. I don't know what to wear. I don't even know if I have any uniforms.

I've decided to wear a plain white v-neck shirt and skinny jeans and my old converse shoes. Maybe when I get my first salary I would buy new shoes.

After getting ready I looked at the mirror besides my bed. Hera this is it a new beginning a new chapter in your life. Good luck do your best! Still don't forget why are you here. I told myself reminding the things I need to do.

I went outside my room and make sure if the door is really lock before leaving. I'm still full maybe I'll eat when it's lunch.

I walked and walked for a couple of minutes. Last night after we left the shop Pierce toured me down town. There are a lot of beautiful things here. People are polite.

"Are you loving the city?" Pierce asked. "Yes I'm inlove with the city. The people are nice. The place is amazing everything is relaxing." I answered with a smile. I can't believe that I'm able to witness this kind of thing in my whole existing.

Pierce even promise to bring me to a place he called paradise. I can't wait but before that I have to be good at my work he said. Don't ever make something clumsy on Mr. Collins shop cause all of the things inside of that rooom is delicate and fragile.

After a moment I already arrived the shop. "Good morning Mr. Collins. It's me Hera the girl on the other day." I shouted to inform that I'm here already. The back door open and there is Mr. Collins entering with a gloves and shovel. Is he planting something?

"Oh you're here. Good morning what an early bird." Mr. Collins compliment me for being early. "Yes sir!" I answered awkwardly. "What should I do to help you sir?" I asked. "Uhm first thing you need to do is to wipe all the figurines here remove dusk but be careful they are all fragile and older than you." he said jokingly. I nodded indicates I understood what he said. He pointed at the cleaning tools placed on the right corner of the shop.

"I should be leaving now I'll be back in an hour I just have to pick up something not far here. Take care of the shop!" Mr. Collins muttered entrusting the shop to me. "Yes Sir! You can count on me." I answered while saluting and as Mr. Collins leaving the shop.

I should start at the back of the shop where big statutes are residing. It's really huge taller than me. They were like the statues on churches. I go to the corner to get the cleaning tools I will use. It's actually easy huh but still I need to be more extra careful not to broke any of this or else I'll be fired at my first day of job.

I get the mop and the water with soap. I started scrubbing this lady statue. It's so dusty here. I think I'll be needing a mask to avoid sneezing. After a couple of minutes I'm done here at this lady statue and move on to another massive one. Scrubbed scrubbed scrubbed. It's only two statues but I feel tired. Is it because they were huge?

I saw a cassette I think cleaning with music would be such a great idea. I opened the dusty cassette. I don't know what musics are here. But it doesn't matter as long as there is a music playing here to lightened the ambience.

The music started to play and a familiar song got into me. Memories are flooding. Flashbacks that could bring my eyes into tears. Why all of the music this world could have this one would play seriously? What a coincidence universe!

Shall I stay?

"Daddy could you sing me lullaby? Cause I can't sleep." a young girl asked her daddy to sing a song that'll send her to sleep. Her daddy nodded and start singing.

I snapped back to reality when the bell ring that indicates someone enters the shop. Is it mr Collins? No I'm wrong it was Pierce. What is he doing here?

"What are you doing here?" I asked. "Am I not allowed here huh?" he asked back. "You can't answer a question with another question." I exclaimed. "Chill I just want to checked on you." he said. "And why?" I said tilting my head with confusion.

He dragged me back from where I am cleaning a while ago. "Let's just clean. I'm here to help you." he said that made my eyebrows goes high. "Stop raising your eyebrows." he said laughing. "You look cute." he added and he grabbed the sponge and started scrubbing.

"So seriously what gotten you to be here and help me huh?" I asked. Cause

I really don't know. "I don't have any work to day. Because of that I'm here." he explained. "The supposedly you should resting." I muttered. "I don't need resting also today is your first day I'm here to support you." he said persuading me that he should be here helping me. "Okay if that's what you said." I simply answered and move to another statue.

After hours of cleaning with a little bit of teasing each other finally we are done! I felt tired. We scrubbed the whole place we mop the floors removed the spider web hanging on every corner of the ceiling. Nothing is really easy on the first of work. Luckily pierce is here I don't have to do it all by myself.
