Sky full of fireflies

After he said that he will show me something and bring me somewhere we walked not so far from the gazebo. He's now holding me and his other hand holding a gas lamp to light up our way. Along are way we it led us to a cave.

"What are we doing here?" I asked. "Are we gonna enter that cave?" I asked again panicking. I hold his arm tightly cause I'm kind of scared. I'm scared of dark. "It's okay I'm here. I won't let go of your hands. Trust me okay?" he assured me. We walk until we reach the mouth of the cave. He is really serious entering that s**t. "It's going to be fine and I'll assure you that you'll love it." he said. I just looked at him with scared face. He just smiled and finally walked to enter the cave.

The darkness surrounding welcomed us we walk inside the cave. All I can do is to hold tight to Pierce because I'm really afraid and not used to darkness. Only the gas lamp gives us the vision to see our path.

"Where are we? Let's go back." I said to Pierce insisting that we should go back to the gazebo. "Hold on we are near there. Promise you won't regret it." he responded. Okay I have to trust him. He probably won't do something stupid that might harm us right?

"We are here!" he announced. What the hell? Is this what he is trying to get us? "Are you kidding me?" I said pissed. "Seriously Pierce? You are gonna show me a complete darkness that I won't regret." I said disappointed for what I am seeing.

"Just wait in 3 2 1 look!" he counted and suddenly the place with darkness filled with thousands of lights. I looked at him I can't believe what I am seeing. It's beautiful.

"Aren't they beautiful?" he said while looking at me. The sudden darkness filled with thousands of lights because of those fireflies. It's amazing. "Yes. They were beautiful." I answered. "They were beautiful as you do." He muttered from nowhere that made my heaf turn and look at him. "What did you say?" I asked as if I didn't heard it. "Nothing." he simply answered. Why the hell he would say that? And the silence covered us we just enjoyed watching the fireflies.
