The Silver Moon Training Grounds were alive with tension. Wolves murmured in scattered clusters, their voices low but thrumming with anticipation.
The sharp morning air bit at my skin, but I stood tall, refusing to let it show.
My ceremonial attire, still crisp despite the earlier drama, was rapidly becoming a beacon for every judging eye.
Dominic's golden eyes flicked in my direction, but the cold indifference in them was sharper than any verbal dismissal.
He barely acknowledged me before turning back to the visiting Alphas who still hovered, amused spectators to the madness unraveling around me.
