AUTHOR’S POV
Triston strolled into the living room with Jake by his side. Jake waved his hand at the DJ, and he stopped the music. The guests all turned their gazes to Triston, giving him all their attention.
"Um, I would like to officially announce that the engagement party has been cancelled," Triston declared. The people started murmuring and talking amongst themselves, wondering why he had cancelled the engagement.
"Why alpha? What’s the matter?" An elderly woman asked, stepping forward. Jake stood in front of Triston as more guests started walking closer to him, asking him a lot of questions he didn’t want to answer.
"Why do you want to cancel the party we have all been looking forward to all of a sudden?" one of them queried.
"No questions, please give the alpha some breathing
