Sarah Williams, the exclusive designer for the X family, walked straight over.
She first reprimanded the clerk for their negligence, then bowed slightly to me, saying, "I apologize, Vivian. My oversight has caused you trouble."
I smiled and replied, "No need to be so polite, Sarah. I still need your help to clarify things."
Sarah feigned a frown, "What? I've already made it very clear online. Is there still someone questioning whether these two items are counterfeit from our X family?"
A collective gasp echoed through the crowd. This designer was quite assertive, coming in person to clear things up for her client.
