Later, I learned that Dominic Blackwood had been about to call me when he realized that I had blocked his number and even deleted him from line. A wave of frustration washed over him.
He quickly sent a message to Godwin Jones:
"Do you know where Vivian Carter is living now?"
Godwin Jones replied:
"Dominic, do you really think I’m some kind of spy for your ex-wife? Besides, you lived with her for three years and you don’t even know how many properties she owns?"
Dominic Blackwood:
"..."
Godwin Jones continued:
"By the way, given how harsh the Blackwood family has been to her, it’s unlikely they’d put any properties in her name. And since she didn’t get a dime when you divorced, and the Carter family doesn’t care for her, she’s probably out on the streets right now."
