Sarah and Pete wandered around for a few more hours before Pete walked her home.
“Do you want me to pick you up for work tomorrow?” asked Pete, kissing her.
“No, I’ll make my own way in, I don’t want to be the topic of lab gossip.” she replied, kissing him back.
“Let them gossip if they want, I don’t care. I want everyone to know you’re mine.” mumbled Pete as he nuzzled her neck.
“I don’t mind people knowing at all, it’s just I’d like to keep our private life private, it’s nothing to do with anyone else what we do.”
Rufus growled his displeasure but Pete understood. Office gossip was the worst and Sarah didn’t want to be at the centre of it, he got it.
