♡ Chapter 11 ♡

I put on my t-shirt and jeans, with my black non-slip work shoes.
I work at a pizzeria that’s literally ten minutes away from me, and to be honest here, I do not wish to go.
Just then, I hear my phone start ringing whilst I was putting my hair up in a high ponytail. And I smile when I see Jordan’s name on my screen.
“Well, hello there stranger.” I tell him while putting the phone close to my right ear.
“Hey there, what are you up to this morning?” He asks me.
“About to go to work.” I tell him while grabbing my purse, and then grab my car keys.
“Oh, well I am too, but shall we meet up at 8 tonight?” He asks me, while I hear him starting his car engine.
“Yeah that sounds good, I’m off at 6 tonight anyways.” I explain while locking up my front door.
“Oh okay, good, so I guess I’ll call you later then.” Jordan chuckles.
“Yep, you better.” I ordered him.
“Yes ma’am.” He tells me with a laugh.
Good gosh, that sounded so sexy.

“Is this a good color?” My coworker asks me while showing me a blush pink nail polish.
“Yeah that’s fine Dana.” I tell her while placing my order in for my break.
“Okay good, my teammates and I are having a banquet.” The high schooler tells me while standing up, when a customer approaches us.
“I’m going on my break now.” I say to her and then grab a soda from the fridge and then watch my other coworkers make my food by taking a seat at a table that’s further away from everything.
“Oh my gosh, this pizza is so hot.” I hear a customer that is seated near me whine.
“Baby, it’s supposed to be hot.” Her boyfriend or whoever he is says to her.
“Still, I want to eat it.” She sighs to him.
This makes me roll my eyes.
Just wait for it to cool stupid.
“Wait for it to cool a little babe.” He tells her.
Thank you, someone has brains.
“Here you go Alicia.” My coworker says to me whilst handing me my food.
“Thank you, William.” I tell him whilst helping him put it down.
He smiles at me, and then walks away.
I then take a picture of my food on my phone.
“Well, I’m still going to report this to the manager.” The woman says.
“Good f*****g luck with that.” I say to myself.
I then started to eat my food.

I start to get ready to see Jordan, when I hear my phone buzz.
He’s supposed to be here in twenty minutes, so I’m shocked when I see his name on the notification.
I then wanted to break my phone, when I look closely at the text message.
Jordan: Hey sorry it’s last minute, but I had something come up
I rolled my eyes and turned off my straightener.
“f**k you Jordan.” I say to my phone.
With tears streaming down my face, I make my way to my closet and take my white romper off, then take my strapless bra off, and then throw on a t-shirt.
I don’t even bother responding back to Jordan.
Once I plugged my phone in to charge, I make my way out of my bedroom, and into my kitchen.
Whilst I was looking for food, I saw a yellow sticky note from my mother on the refrigerator.
Hey sweetie, made you some spaghetti, dad and I needed to work late
I opened the fridge to see my plate of spaghetti just sitting there with a paper towel over it, I grinned and then grabbed it out of the fridge and placed it inside of my microwave.
“Thank you, mama.” I grin evilly while patting my fingers together watching my food warm up in the microwave.
Gosh, I’m such a freak when it comes to food.
Once my food is ready, I took it out and placed it on my bar and then grabbed a beer from the fridge, after I opened it, I grabbed a fork and then sat down at the bar and started to eat my mother’s homemade spaghetti.
I wanted to do a Lady and the Tramp kind of thing, but Jordan stood me up.
So, it’s just me, attempting it for myself.
But of course, failing miserably.

Whilst I was watching my Netflix show in my bedroom, I decided to text Jordan back even though it was hours ago.
Me: Oh, lol that’s okay
Then hit sent.
Even though it wasn’t okay.
But I would never tell him that, because to be honest here, I’m starting to like this stupid son of a gun.
Just then, my phone buzzes and I see it was a message from Jordan.
Jordan: Lol okay good
I sighed and then texted him good night.
Which he of course, responded with an lol good night.
“Why am I starting to fall for this guy?” I ask myself with a frown.
Then, I continued on watching my show on my television.
But then my phone buzzes and it’s a message from Jordan, asking me for my Snapchat, which I then unlocked my phone screen and then sent him my Snapchat username.
After I sent it, I went on my Snapchat and started watching my friend’s videos, when I see Jordan added me as a friend.
I then accepted it, and he then sent me a selfie of himself saying hey.
So, I tried to take a good selfie and then sent it to him.
And the rest of the night, we kept snapping each other back and forth.
