“Um, do you like puppies?” Berkley asks me while we were standing outside of Petland.
“Yeah, they’re cute, I never had one though because my mom is allergic.” I tell her with a frown.
“Oh, well my apartment is lonely, so I want one.” She tells me while opening the door.
“You want to get one, right now?” I asked her in amusement whilst walking inside and then she walks in after me.
“Well, yeah.” She explains giving me a grin.
I chuckle and roll my eyes.
Then I see the bunny rabbits.
“Awh, I want them all.” I cooed while walking up to the bin of bunnies.
“Do you want to hold one?” A woman comes up to me and asks.
I looked at her and then back down at the bunnies.
“No thank you, if I hold one of them, then I would want one.” I sighed.
“Oh, okay.” She just tells me.
“Yeah, sorry.” I tell her whilst giving her an apologetic smile.
“It’s alright.” She says with an annoyed tone.
And then walked away.
“Well then.” I say and then look for Berkley.
I then spot her watching the little Corgis playing around.
“I want that one.” She says pointing her finger at the one Corgi that seems like he or she is the anti-social one.
“Awh, that’s so cute, and I relate so much to that dog.” I say truthfully.
I kept looking at the dog, when I hear Berkley ask a guy about the dog.
“Hey, can I have that tan colored one? The one that the other puppies won’t play with?” Berkley asks the Petland worker.
“Yeah sure, stay here.” He orders her and then walks to that door in between where the puppies are staying.
“You really are doing this?” I ask her while now watching some sleeping pugs.
“Heck yeah, I always wanted a corgi anyways.” She says with a smirk.
Just then, the guy comes out carrying the cutest puppy ever.
Just kidding, they all are.
“Aww, who’s a cutie?” Berkley asks the puppy once she has it in her arms.
“Just go up front at the register, if you want to get him.” The guy tells her.
Berkley then looks at the guy with a smile.
“Awh, this cutie is a boy?!” She asks him with excitement.
He raises an eyebrow at her.
“Um, yeah, I got to go.” He tells her and then leaves us alone.
She giggles and then cuddles the puppy close to her chest.
“I’ll name him Cedric, after Cedric Diggory from Harry Potter.” She sighs dreamily and then we make our way to the register.
“Oh my gosh.” I mumbled under my breath.
Once we made it to the cash register, she then looks at me.
“Here, hold Cedric while I get my wallet out.” She orders me whilst handing me the newly named puppy.
I then looked down and smiled at him.
“Who’s a cute pupper?” I ask him in a baby voice.
“Okay, let’s choose him a collar and get him some things.” Berkley says while grabbing him from me.
I chuckled and then we started to look for a collar, when I heard two girls laughing.
“Oh, Jordan is so cute, and funny.” I hear a girl giggle.
“I know, he’s such a cutie.” Another sighs dreamily.
I felt Berkley put her hand on my arm.
“Relax, it’s probably a different Jordan.” She tells me whilst giving me a small smile.
“Yeah, probably.” I say giving her a smile in return.
~♡~♡~
“Hey Jordan, um, this is voicemail message number five, and uh, I’m getting kind of worried about you.” I chuckled nervously.
“Okay, goodbye.” I say into the phone and then hang up.
I groan and then throw myself on my bed and then push my face into the pillow.
“I HATE MEN!!” I scream into my pillow.
“So, are you into women now?” Kennedy asks me.
I sit up on my bed, and then look at her.
“No, just this Frat guy I’ve been talking to, he hasn’t talked to me all day yesterday, and still is not today.” I tell her as a matter of fact.
She chuckles and then sits on my white moon chair.
My phone buzzes, next to me, meaning that I have a message.
I eagerly grab it from next to me, and then look to see if Jordan messaged me.
“Was that him?” Kennedy asks me while grinning at me.
I give her a look.
“No, it was my mom telling me she’s bringing home dinner.” I sighed in annoyance and tossing my phone on my pillows.
“Oh, well he’ll talk to you, maybe he’s just busy.” Kennedy tells me as a matter of fact, while crossing her arms.
“Busy being a jerk.” I muttered like I’m a five-year-old.
“Well, he’s a man after all.” Kennedy says with a laugh.
I frowned and looked at her.
“Do you have to graduate so soon?” I randomly ask her with a pout.
She grins and then stands up and pats my head.
“I’m sorry to graduate early, but my apartment I’m getting is a two bedroom, so it’ll be all ready for you.” She explains whilst putting her phone in her back pocket.
“It’s alright I guess.” I sighed.
I really don’t want her to leave. She always cheers me up, but we are going to live together still, so that’s a good thing.
“Come on, let’s grab some lunch, I’ll pay.” Kennedy says whilst grabbing my hand and pulling me up.
“Ah, those are my favorite words.” I tell her while grabbing my phone.
She just laughs while we both exit my bedroom.
