♡ Chapter 18 ♡

“Happy birthday sweetie.” My mom says as she wakes me up.

This makes me sit up and give her a smile.

She hands me a small present.

“I wonder what it could be.” I say with a chuckle.

I then open it up and see it’s a gold necklace with an infinity symbol.

“Thank you, mom.” I say while giving her a hug.

She then gets up and grins at me.

“Your mickey mouse shaped pancakes are on the kitchen island with some bacon, and sausage links.” My mother says while I’m getting out of bed.

“Oh, okay, thank you mom.” I tell her with a grin.

“No problem sweetheart, happy birthday, and I’ll see you later.” She tells me while giving my shoulder a squeeze, and then walking away.

I sighed and then grabbed my phone and made my way out of my bedroom.

Once I get inside my kitchen, I see the pancakes with a glass of almond milk, which is one of my favorite drinks.

I then posted a snap picture of my breakfast, then afterwards, I started to eat my breakfast.

“Oh, my goodness, this is so good.” I groan once I started to eat the sausage link.

Just then, my phone starts ringing, and I look to see it was Jordan calling me, so I swallow my food and then answer.

“Happy birthday, you know, we met literally less than one month, and you never told me that your birthday was coming up.” Jordan tells me with a small laugh.

“Well, to be fair, we never really talked that much about ourselves.” I tell him whilst putting him on speaker.

After I put my phone down, I continue to eat my breakfast.

“That is true, so what do you have planned?” He asks me.

“Um, not much, I got the day off today from work, and no classes today, so I might just pick up some pizza and eat here at home and watch some of my shows on Netflix.” I tell him while eating my food.

“Oh, come on Alicia, that sounds boring.” He tells me with a sigh.

“It’s my life, and news flash, my life is pretty boring.” I tell him as a matter of fact.

“Well, when I’m on my break, I can come over and keep you some company.” He tells me a little nervously.

This makes me smile and drink my glass of milk.

“I like that idea.” I explained a huge smile on my face.

“Okay good, see you later then.” He says then hangs up.

I then continue on eating my breakfast without a care in the world.

I decided to wear a white halter top, with some light denim shorts, and have my hair in a high ponytail.

I then hear a knock at my door, making me let out a sigh, and then walk out of my bedroom with my phone in my back pocket. Once I walked up to my door, I fixed up my hair some more, and then opened it.

“Hey there birthday girl.” Jordan tells me with a grin.

He was holding a bouquet of sunflowers with one hand and holding a pizza box with a smaller box on top of it. I’m guessing the smaller one is the wings.

“Hey there, come on in.” I tell him while opening the door for him.

“Thank you gorgeous.” He chuckles whilst handing me the sunflowers.

This makes me give him a smile and sniffed the beautiful bouquet.

Once he gets inside, I close the door from behind me, and then follow him into my kitchen.

“So, where do you keep your plates?” Jordan asks me whilst looking through the cupboards.

I chuckled at him doing this and placed the sunflowers down then walked up to him.

“Right here Jordan.” I chuckled whilst standing on my toes and then grabbing two black and white marble plates.

“Thanks cutie.” He says then kisses my forehead.

With a blush on my cheeks, I handed him his plate, and watched him open up the boxes.

“So, here we have a medium pepperoni pizza with a 16-piece bone-in buffalo wings, with of course blue cheese.” He explains to me.

“Oh, that looks yummy.” I tell him while grabbing two slices of pizza.

“Damn right it does.” He chuckles and grabs some wings.

He grabs only eight so that means I’ll have eight left for me to eat.

Which is good, I mean, I would eat all of them, but I have to share.

“What do you want to watch on Netflix?” I ask him while grabbing the rest of the wings and putting them on my plate.

“Um, Stranger things sounds good.” He tells me once he grabs three pieces of pepperoni pizza.

I laughed at this, and then put the cup of blue cheese on my plate, and then grab a paper towel, and hand Jordan one.

“Thank you.” He says whilst giving me a wink.

I just gave him another smile and we both made our way to the living room.

Once we took our seats, I turned on my television and then started to go on my Netflix account.

“Mm, this is so good.” He groans while eating some of his pizza.

“Ugh, I didn’t even play the show yet Jordan.” I sighed while playing the show and then putting my plate down on the ottoman and sit down on the floor right next to Jordan.

“So what? I’m so hungry, I’m on my lunch break after all.” He sighs while continuing to eat his pizza.

I smirked at him and then started to eat some of my wings while directing my attention to the show.

Later on, I was walking him to his car, since he has to go back to work.

“Thank you for spending my birthday with me.”  I say once we made it to his car.

He opens his door and then kisses me on the lips.

“No problem, now I got to go back to work, so I’ll call you later.” He tells me while getting inside his car.

“Okay sounds good.” I tell him while crossing my arms over my stomach.

After he closes his door, I stepped away from his car, and continued to watch him drive away from my porch.

He lets out a honk, and then pulls out of the driveway.

I then walk back inside my house.
