{FOURTEEN MONTHS LATER}

“Oh, my goodness Alicia, that’s the one!” My mother says while giving me a twirl around in what hopefully is my wedding dress.

 “Oh yes, my son will like that as well.” Christopher’s mother Hanna tells me while coming up to the both of us.

 I laugh at them and then walk up in front of the triple mirror at the end of the miniature runway.

“You guys are so silly.” I say with a laugh yet again.

I did a princess twirl and then smile.

 It was a mermaid fitted dress with no straps.

I look to see my mom putting my veil on through the mirrors.

“This one suits you well.” My mom says with a smile on her face.

I turn around and then give her a hug.

“I can’t believe that dad is going to miss my wedding.” I say with a small frown on my face.
