Chapter 4

The Cause and Revenge

Lom entered the chamber possessed by Hrush; he saw Hrush talking to a herald. As the herald saw Lom he bowed before him and left the chamber, “I think you know what happened here?” Lom questioned Hrush. Hrush nodded a yes. “Then you know what to do.” Hrush again nodded a yes. “Fine then have rest and be ready.” Hrush again nodded a yes.

Lom left the chamber, Hrush got lost in a deep thought. Suddenly two persons wearing black dress entered his chambers from window. They started approaching Hrush, Hrush sensed the presence of another person in his chamber he got alerted and took out his sword and turned towards the two black dressed persons. As he turned the two people took of their mask, they were Rage and Swart.

“Rage, you what brought you here in disguise?” Hrush asked. Rage and Swart kneed before Hrush, and Rage answered, “We wanted to convey a message to you.” Hrush put his sword back and picked up Rage and hugged him, “You could have come from main door, everyone here has become your huge fan of yours, a local hero that’s what Ash dreamed for you.” as Hrush realized the name he has taken the smile on his face disappeared. “We are here to take you sire.” Swart said to Hrush. A state of question was observed on face of Hrush. “Big brother is not a black soul. Today in the battle I was able to make a cut on his hand, sire the color of blood was red.” Rage explained. “What? But he was venomed.” Hrush exclaimed. “So, we are here to take you to him only big brother can clear the misunderstandings.” Swart suggested. “Did you tell this to Lom?” Hrush asked. “If big brother would have trusted anyone, he would have told them, but he kept it to him, means there is something in the palace. And big brother wanted it to end.” Rage answered. “Things seem to be logical, if he would have caught the venom, he would have not spared the guards and cause a disaster right from the prison, but he came here. Where is he?” Hrush asked. “He escaped from the underground passage of battlefield. After that we haven’t got from him.” Swart answered. “I know where we can get him, if he would be there then he is not venomed.”

The midnight moon was shining at its best, the twilight of moon played on the grave by which Ash was sitting. The grave carvings displayed:

Ash was sitting beside the grave and reminding the past happy moments, when he used to sit on the shoulders of his father and ride the whole house. Suddenly he heard footsteps coming from the bush, he holds a grip of his sword and looked towards the direction of steps with sharp sight. As the person from the bush came forward Ash took out his sword and said to the indistinct figure, “Stay where you are, a single step and your two pieces.” The indistinct figure laughed loudly and said, “You still warn at the best.” the figure came out in the twilight it was Hrush. Ash put his sword back and turned around towards the grave and said, “So now you have come to meet a friend.” “So, the mighty guy is upset. Well I have guests for you.” Hrush replied. Swart and Rage came from the bush. Ash turned towards them and got up Swart came forward and hugged Ash, Rage joined them. Hrush looked at them and turned to leave. Ash saw him and said, “Leaving just like that.”. Hrush turned around with wet eyes, “I lost everyone, could not control emotions by seeing a family reunion.” Ash replied, “You call me a friend right and this is how you payback by calling yourself all alone.” Hrush smiled and hugged Ash. “Why didn’t you tell me that you are not being venom?” Ash released Hrush and said, “I will tell you what happened that day. I and uncle Tam were on a round through the countryside, when we were near the valley of cold blood, we saw lesser king Dan. We thought he would be there for some fresh air, but his behavior seemed to be notorious he wasn’t wearing the royal attire but a disguise. We decided to follow him then at one place his hand incidentally got cut by a sharp branch of tree, his blood was black he was being venom. We still followed him but then he disappeared and he suddenly came behind us he injected something in me and I was unable to move I fell down before he could inject the thing on uncle Tam, uncle managed to escape. Then began a battle, I was lying helpless unable to move uncle Tam fought very bravely but the lion killed him. Then he turned towards me but he heard a unit coming towards us and he left, after some time I was able to move and I went up to uncle Tam but he was already dead, I was holding him in hands when your troop arrived the sergeant knew I wasn’t the culprit but still he ordered the troops to attack me I was helpless but I wanted to tell you things. So, I attacked in return I took care that no one among the troop was killed by me except the sergeant. Then you entered the scene. Seeing uncle Tam dead, you could not think anything I came to talk to you, and you applied the ‘tiger slather punch’ and I fainted. You put me behind the bars and the head of justice jury was Dan he imposed his crime on me, and they ordered me to hang.”

“You mean that the lesser king is victim of soul of venom and is planning for a big deal.” Hrush replied. “I could not trust anyone in the palace, I ran straight here to assassinate the lesser king and would have done that if Rage would not have stopped me. I guess the blood color told you I am not a victim of venom.” Ash asked Rage. Rage nodded a yes, he looked unhappy.

“I must leave and check out the palace we will meet tomorrow send me the plan work. I vowed a revenge on him.” Hrush angrily told to Ash, “Are you guys coming with me?” Hrush questioned Rage. “Let me stay with my brother, sire.” Ash replied to Hrush. “They are my warrior champs sergeant.” Hrush replied. “Then lend me your warriors for a night sire.” Ash requested Hrush. “You can keep them sergeant.” Saying so Hrush left.

Ash saw towards Rage he was still looking down. Ash said, “Rage look at this grave it is of our parents. You know well that our father died as a warrior and we are supposed to keep the fame of our father. What you did today was the most righteous thing if I would have been at your place, I would have done the same.” Rage looked at Ash and said, “Big Brother you are happy with me.” Ash smiled and said, “Happy and proud as well, only your punch hurt me a little.” both Ash and Rage smiled Swart came at the spot who went to have some fruits. “And you champ, you troubled me a lot today.” Ash said to Swart by catching him by neck. All of them laughed together. Then Rage asked Ash, “Big brother, can we come with you for the fight?” Ash thought for a while “No Rage things for tomorrow are dangerous.” “We are grown ups big brother.” Swart replied. “I know that champ but,” Ash stopped for a pause, “But what brother don’t you think we are liable for the battle. Big brother we have been far from you for a long period of time I don’t want to be apart from you.” Rage replied. Ash thought for a while and replied, “Fine you are coming.” “Wow, hip hurray.” “Well how was the palace?” Ash asked and Swart and Rage started sharing their experience. The moon witnessed the beautiful reunion of the brothers.
