After finishing of Denny, Carter gave a deadly look to Mae, but soon he realised she isn't wearing anything so he left the room without even saying a word. Mae quickly got up and wore some cozy dress out of her wardrobe. After done getting some clothes on she gone outside to hall looking for Carter. He was standing there on call. 

Carter : Make sure the room is cleaned and well managed. 

Carter : I'll be there soon. 

Carter : Yes I'll have food mom, don't worry. I'll come home soon. See you there. Bye. 

Mae was waiting for his call to end. As soon as his call ended he gave her a look but this look was different from the one he gave inside the room, this time it was full of love and care. 

Mae : Alpha.. I...

Carte : You are coming back with me to the pack house. 

Mae : The What ??

Carter :  M'I not clear enough or m'I not audible to you? 

Mae : Alpha.. But... 

Carter : I dare you speak another word. Just go and pack the stuffs you need to survive there and you'll get the car from pack house to office and back home. You are not allowed to go with anyone or anywhere without asking me. The only people you are allowed to talk are Mia, Xavier, Kelly, Antony, Lukas and my mother.  M'I clear ?

Mae : And you ?

Carter (He froze over her question why do she wants to talk to him, whereas Storm was shouting back in his head to say she can talk to him anytime) : Only when you have appointment for it. You can ask Lukas to arrange it looking after my schedule he'll let you know. Now get your stuffs I need to make arrangements for your door.

Mae : Okay Alpha.

Carter : Good. 

(With that Mae gone back inside her room to pack her stuffs and move with Carter. She finished doing that in half an hour and till then few pack members came there to fix the door on Carter's call. Looking at Mae they bowed to her with respect considering her as Luna. Mae was confused as Carter never denied them from bowing in front of her, she gave a questioning look to him but he started looking away to ignore her gaze. Carter took her bag and she followed him towards the car, Carter asked the pack members to bring his car from the pack house.Mae quietly followed him and he took the door for her, she sat on the passenger's seat and Carter started driving, silently. The silence was now killing her more than his ice cold gaze.)

Mae : Alpha..

Carter : (Quiet)

Mae : I'm sorry for not listening to anyone and believing on Denny. 

Carter : (Quiet)

Mar : Please talk to me, at least yell at me for being such an ass.

Carter didn't responded to anything of Mae said and he drove off to the pack house. After reaching home Carter signaled two members to take her stuff to the room. Mia and Xav were waiting in the pack house for her, Carter gave Xav a call while she was packing the stuff and he did told them everything that happened there. He thought she might feel better with James, Xav and Mia with her. As soon as Mae entered the pack house Mia gave her a warm hug and Xav came towards Carter and bowed which Carter signaled is not needed. 

Xav : Are you okay ?

Carter : Yeah I'm... Take care of her.

Xav : Alpha, I know how mate bond works and though she doesn't have her wolf you still take her as your mate. I hope you are okay after whatever happened there.

Carter : I.....I need to go to dungeon.... You look after her.

Xav : Alpha, I suppose she should have some girl time as getting close to any guy may bother her, can I come with you ?

Carter : Sure.

Carter and Xav moved towards dungeon. On the way he mind linked Steve (Beta) to meet him outside the dungeon gates and they need to finish off with the rouges. Steve did as told and met them outside gate. Three of them gone to dungeon to ask why did they attacked the pack and who asked them to do this. They soon reached to the dungeon cell of one of the rouge. Carter commanded to get all the four of them (Rouges) in one cell, guards did the same. 

Carter : I won't repeat my questions and with any wrong answer I'll s***h one head among yours. Is the rule clear here? So the question is why did you attacked my pack?

None of the rouge spoke to his question, he gave an aggressive and threatening growl, to which one of them spoke.

Rouge 1: We are not bound to answer anything to you so stop wasting our time. 

Carter : Wooowww... That's a great attitude here, let's start with you then. Now you'll speak or your partners will get the nightmare about me forever. Deal?

Rouge 1 spat near his leg and gave him a smirk : You can't do anything Alpha other than killing us..

Carter : Wanna bet?

(With that Carter gone near to another rouge took his claws out and slit his leg. The other rouge cried and screamed in pain , Carter gave that rouge a smirk, moved towards the another rouge and slit his hand into half, then to the last one and gave his a deep cut on chest. They all were now crying and screaming in pain. Then he moved back to the first rouge gave him a smirk and cleaned his claws on the shirt rouge was wearing. 

Carter : Can we talk now or you want them to suffer more?

Rouge 1: You are a monster Carter Grey stop doing all this.  

Carter : Oh yes I know I'm monster. Speak up what I had asked else they'll lose their life slowly in pain. Trust me I won't let them have an easy death. They'll die crying and screaming. Their scream is music to my ears till I won't  get a new track, your answer, I'll listen to this track on repeat. You wanna know how cruel I'm ???

Carter gave a look to Steve : Get the wolfsbane drinks and silver chains for our guests. And make sure you'll dip those silver chains in wolfsbane solution too, I don't want any complaint from our guests. Leave. 

Rouge 1 : No Carter, they'll die worst death please. Kill them already.

Carter : Kill them. What a shame on me if I can't greet them nicely. C'mon let me have fun. Steve get the chains already. 

Steve : Yes Alpha. 

Rouge 1 : Don't do that I beg you Alpha please. 

Carter : You start answering me or I'll make you all suffer the Hell's torment in this life. I have heard you rouges works for themselves without any emotions attached then what's happening here? Are you afraid they'll die? If that's the case then answer me why without any reason you attacked to our pack?

Rouge 2 (Crying in pain,his leg was torn by Carter): Dad, please tell him everything please. I won't be able to take Silver chains please I beg you.

Carter : DAD?? What's your age you fool. 

Rouge 2 : 15. Please don't kill me...

Carter : In such young age why the hell you joined the war against my pack. (looking towards guard) Take him to pack hospital, ask them to treat him well and I want the whole update, make sure to guard his room and make sure he gets fine. Take him now. 

Rouge 1 : What.. What are you doing ? Why this sudden change in nature ??

Carter : I'm cruel to the people like you. not to kid, so shut up and let me work. (With that he freed the kid from the chains and made him sit nicely on the stool nearby. Guards came inside and took the kids to the pack hospital.)

Rouge 1 : Alpha, it was Alpha Daniel from Blood moon pack, he paid our master to attack on your pack because Daniel have an information about you have his "Girl" and few other pack members in your pack. He claims that the girl is about 21 years old with emerald green eyes and he want her back. He asked us to attack your pack so that he can enter and get his girl. 

Carter : That girl is MY LUNA and he dare come near her and I'll make him regret his birth.

Carter left the dungeon and asked the guards to get everyone treated, as he got whatever information he needed. On their way back Xav asked about what will he do now. 

Xav : Alpha.. What next ??

Carter : It's time to break treaty and teach that mother fucker a lesson about not to make false claims. Steve arrange my meeting tomorrow to Alpha Daniel and if he denies make the warriors ready. I wanna meet him tomorrow even if it costs a war. Get it done.

Steve ; Yes Alpha. 

(Steve, Xav and Carter came back to his office to discuss what they need to do further to keep Mae and Mia safe. It was decided that till everything won't get normal Jack, Mia and Mae will live in pack house and everyone else will have a 12 hour drill and training daily. And nothing should be told to Mae as she'll f**k the situation even more.)
