November 1 I can't believe it's already November. I haven't been taking the time to write much in here because I've been too busy being impossibly, ridiculously, giddily happy. My life is practically perfect when I manage to block out the sharp dagger of doom that is hanging precariously over my head by an ever-thinning string... Gus's impending departure. We never talk about him leaving, or the fact that the deadline is looming and drawing ever nearer. When he originally told me he was staying for a while, I had been so relieved and thrilled that I didn't bother to ask him the specifics.
