Chapter 2 – The First Blueprint
Adrian sat motionless on the edge of the shabby bed, his eyes locked on the glowing panel in front of him. The Tech System hummed quietly in his mind, its presence steady, unyielding—like the heartbeat of a god only he could hear.

Name: Adrian Cross
Body Age: 22
System Level: 1 (Novice)
Available Functions: Nano-Workshop, Blueprint Library, Quantum Interface
System Mission: Create your first invention.
A wave of electricity surged through his veins. His lips curled into a sharp smile. So the system rewards invention? Then this is no different from my old lab… except now, no one can steal from me.
The room was bare—just a rickety desk, a broken lamp, and scattered textbooks. Still, it was enough. He closed his eyes, focusing on the Blueprint Library. Instantly, his vision filled with a vast empty space—like an endless white vault waiting to be filled.
A thought sparked. “Something small… something useful. Let’s start simple.”
The system responded to his intent.
> [Initializing Blueprint Creation Mode…]
[Please imagine your design.]
Adrian’s mind raced. What if I combine augmented reality with AI processing? A lens… no, a contact lens. One that overlays digital information directly into sight. Something this world hasn’t even dreamed of yet.
He visualized it: a sleek, transparent contact lens embedded with nano-circuits, connected to a personal AI.
The panel flared.
> [Blueprint Generated: Smart Lens v0.1]
[Function: Real-time data overlay, facial recognition, instant web access.]
[Crafting Cost: 10 Nano-Units.]
Adrian’s heart pounded. “Nano-Units?”
> [Nano-Units are generated by breaking down raw materials. Collect resources to proceed.]
He glanced around the dingy apartment. Junk electronics piled in a corner—old circuit boards, tangled wires, a shattered smartphone. A grin tugged at his lips. Perfect.
He placed the broken phone on the desk.
“System, decompose.”
The device vibrated, disintegrating into shimmering motes of light before vanishing entirely.
> [+3 Nano-Units Acquired.]
Adrian’s breath caught. He had just turned trash into raw creation energy. For the first time in two lifetimes, he felt… limitless.
“Just wait, Victor,” he muttered, eyes blazing. “The genius you killed has been reborn. And this time, I’ll create miracles the world can’t even comprehend.”
Outside, the sun began to rise over the city, its light cutting through the smog. For the world, it was just another morning. For Adrian Cross, it was the dawn of a new era.
