jungkook nods his head, he slightly bowed at the store manager. "i am so sorry for this, jungkook." the manager said tapping his shoulders. the man shook his head taking in a deep breathe before letting out a small smile. "no, sir. it's okay." jungkook said, bowing once again. he already turned his back and grabbed his bagpack, taking off his coat and just leaving his plain white shirt. he's been here for a just a week and he's already fired because of that one too conceited customer that he encountered. he lives near the store he's working at, it just took him twenty minutes before he finally got home. of course, the twenty minutes was quiet long but that's because he just walked. he lives in a small house. he's not complaining though, it is not as he doesnt need to pay for rent because his family owns this. funny, how people in the store used to work  at keeps on buying this that is worth more than his house and the things in it. he, on the other side, this is all he got. as he opened the door, he's welcomed by his living room, an old model television and a worn-out black leather sofa. you just have to take four steps and you're already in the kitchen across of it, there's a door leading to his small room and that's it. that's his very humble abode. jungkook never asked for more, all he wants is to get by. he doesnt need fancy clothes or any kind similar to that, all he wants is to have something to eat and some supplies in his house. a one stable job that has a decent amount of salary will make him happy, he get to save and will probably go to university after that. he graduated highschool, fortunately. but jungkook knows that if he wants to have a more stable and good job, he needs to be atleast a college graduate and he really wants to study too. jungkook ran his fingers through his hair stopping and staring at the boring wall, there's this picture frames that made it lively, his family. "hi, sweetheart." jungkook smiled staring at her. "mom, dad. i missed you. take care of areum, okay?" jungkook looked down, he let out a shaky breathe. he bit the insides of his cheeks trying so hard not to let his tears fall. his parents and areum died, they left him at such a very young age. he was twelve at that time. he shrugged the thought off not wanting to remember all of it, he doesnt want to cry himself to sleep just like the old times. why did he get to live, though? he's probably better off with them. it's so hard trying to live everyday when he got no reasons to. jungkook bit his lower lips, he ran his fingers through his hair. he walked inside the kitchen and opened the fridge. "wow. why did i even expect?" jungkook rolled his eyes. his fridge doesnt have anything but water and two pieces of apple. oh! there's a biscuit too that he got as a freebie. at times like this, he usually just sleep to avoid getting even more hungry but probably not today, he's too iritated to just sleep it off. he got some cash, he saved up from his last job and it was quiet a lot but it is not for his food. he's saving it for university. he grabbed his hoodie, putting it on before he finally walked outside of his house. he immediately walked towards the nearby convenience store. "oh, s**t!" jungkook clutched onto his chest when he was about to cross the streets and a black sleek bmw car honked at him. it's just an inch away for the f*****g car to hit him. jungkook raised his brows looking straight at the car even though he couldnt see anything as its heavenly tinted, must be an important person. "oh, young man. im very sorry." a middle-aged man went out of the driver's seat walking towards him. "are you okay? im sorry. i was distracted." the man said in an apologetic tone. jungkook slightly bowed at the man and was about to say that it was okay but a much younger man went out of the car. "mr. han, he's not even harmed." it's the crazy rich b***h. jungkook stared at him right in the eye, the man's eyes widened surprised to see the employee he just fired earlier. "it was nice meeting you, jeon jungkook," the man smirked, "im jung seokjin." he casually said. seokjin walked towards him. he stopped and crossed his arms as he looked at jungkook from head to toe, obviously trying to intimidate him. jungkook is never the one to back away. he's always curious as to why the people in the store he used to work at seems like they are ready to worship their customers. a living proof that some people will treat you based on what you can give. jungkook, he will respect them as everyone needs to be respected but he obviously wont if they are belittling them for not having things that they have. "i didnt ask for your name." jungkook coldly said. mr. han's eyes widened in surprised. he immediately walked next to jungkook holding his arms and shaking his head trying to stop the man. he worked for seokjin since he was little, he saw the man grow up. he knows that seokjin wont let this slide. "we're sorry, again, mr." mr. han apologized, "im sorry. if ever you need something here's my calling card." the man then handed him a card. jungkook didnt even pay that much attention to it as he is still having a staring contest with the probably younger man infront of him. "you know what?" jungkook raised his brows, "you're lucky to have kind people working for you with that kind of attitude." he said, slightly shaking his head. seokjin's eyes widened in surprise putting his hands up in the air as he walked towards jungkook wanting nothing but to hit the man. luckily, mr. han is quick enough to hold seokjin by the arms. "yah! dont act all tough. you're worth less than the paper you are holding!" he said, screaming his heart out. jungkook then shrugged his shoulders, protruding his lips, obviously unbothered. "as if i care..."
