Stan was silent the whole time he drove the car to Alicia’s apartment. I glanced at him after he parked the car in front of the apartment building. I couldn’t read what’s on his mind, but I know that he’s still pissed because of what happened.
“I’ll make it up to you.”
He turned to me lazily. “That’s not the case, Blakely. All I want is for you to be honest with me.”
I swallowed hard. How can I be honest with him about my feelings for Nik? He called my feelings disgusting. I could take it if people branded it as a forbidden affection, but disgusting? No! I don’t think it’s disgusting.
