Blakely's POV
I had to rush to the hospital because of what happened to Papa. My heart was beating so fast in so much worry, and I couldn’t bring myself to think about his possible condition right now. I don’t know what to do. All I could think about was Papa’s safety that I completely forgot about Mama’s tone when she called me. I was welcomed by her angry stares as soon as I got into Papa's private room.
I was shocked, but maybe her anger was caused by my sudden decision to cut the vacation off and come back.
