I was welcomed by my colleagues when I returned to work and it’s all thanks to Stan. Although I could feel that their treatment changed, I’m still thankful that I was able to go back to work.
“She used her connection to get away from the mess she created.”
My eyes squeezed after I heard that while I was sitting on my chair. Yes, they started treating me like that because Stan used his connection to resolve my problem.
