  Blakely’s POV   Nik checked the window, and touched the twisted curtain. He looked outside and then slightly shook the window pane before he slowly closed it. I saw him sighed and shook his head.   “What's wrong?” I asked worriedly and walked towards him.   He faced me and his eyes immediately landed on my feet. His forehead creased. He didn't answer and just walked past me, so I checked the window, wanting to see what he saw and I realized the lock was broken.   I jumped in shock when something fell on the floor beside me. Nik looked at me with one brow shot up. I looked down, and realized he brought my slippers.
