The soothing music enveloping the whole place made it impossible for the people to quickly notice the splashing of the pool water. No one but Nik, who was standing by the poolside, saw how Blakely jumped off the ground after a scared cat jumped in front of her, startling her. Nik was startled for a second after Blakely fell into the water, and thinking she would resurface after a few while, he turned his back and started walking away.
