The cabin in the woods

Why the heck was Violet trembling slightly? She couldn't be cold so why was the scent of her arousal so high? I hear it then, the low buzzing of a vibrator.

"You okay sis?" I ask her, she starts to blush,

"I-I, uh, y-yea. I'm good." she stutters out. The carriage bumps again and I stick my hair out the window again,

"Must you be this rough with the carriage?" I ask, I will admit, I was grumpy that I had to spend 9 days away from Alex.

"Sorry Queenie." he says, I see him smirk and I glare at him.

"Hmph."I say crossing my arms.

Why was he so annoying. I look at the black ceiling of the carriage, suddenly annoyed with the small details that depicted how superior vampires were to other species.

"Are we there yet?" I yell at Brandon from inside the carriage.

"Yes Queenie, we're here." the carriage stops after what seems like a thousand years.

"Finally." I say as I lug my suitcase into the cabin. A wave of nausea hits me but I shake it off.

Violet suddenly runs into the cabin and upstairs into a room, I hear her gasp. Brandon comes into the cabin, holding some luggage while wearing a smirk on his face.

"You put a vibrator in her." 

"I put a vibrator in her." we both say into unison. I roll my eyes in amusement as he chuckles slightly.

"Just try and be quiet, no having s*x in front of me either." I say as he makes his way upstairs

"Will do Queenie." he grins.

" And stop corrupting my sister Beta." I call out,

"She wants to be corrupted Queenie!" he says before closing the door. I rub the mermaid scale out of habit, another wave of nausea hits me. I shake my head.

I couldn't be pregnant yet, Alex and I have only gone to bed together for four days, two of which we may or may not have forgotten to use a condom. Although, it is possible. 

I take deep breaths. Don't assume anything until you have the facts straight. I say to myself.

"God, Brandon." I hear my sister moan. I sigh deeply, this was going to be a long 9 days.

I was in the kitchen, it was 7 am. I usually never wake up this early, but Violet and Brandon's banging on the wall made me wake up earlier than I wish I had.

With a deep sigh, I look into our fridge and take out an O- blood bag. I take a straw and stab it in grumpily because the desire I've felt these days and the lack of sleep, despite the fact that i don't need it. I put the straw in my mouth and suck it, the cold blood making me feel relaxed and calm.

Odd things were happening to me. I was feeling more nauseous when I drank my favorite blood type, AB+. I was also craving human foods, mainly fruits and cheese. I was becoming more and more sure that I was pregnant.

I take the straw out my mouth and stare out the window from our petite kitchen, I could hear Brandon's breaths, shushing Violet, telling her to be quiet. Vi's whimpers and small gasps. I sigh.

With the blood bag, I walk out the cabin to a nearby lake, passing bushes and trees.

The lake was beautiful, it's clear blue crystal color, unlike anything I've ever seen. I dip my feet into the water enjoying the scenery and cool feeling of the water on my toes. 

The mermaid scale was itchy, burning up like fire. I look down at it, the gold edged, pale pink scale was glowing. It seemed like there was globs of lava underneath. 

I felt confused. I look into the crystal blue water and I see something else glowing. I put my blood bag to the side and without thinking, I decided to do something incredibly stupid, I decided to dive in.

My silver hair floated around my face, my black nightdress floated around my legs.

I look around I see it there. A mermaid. She was beautiful. She had pale pink hair with blue strands in it, like highlights. The only odd one out was the silver strand of hair beside her face. Her tail, with the same pale pink as her hair with the gold edges, seemed to be caught in a net.

Beside her, was a merman with spiked white hair. His own tail was white with blue edges. He was tugging at the net at the girl's tail, trying to un-knot it, though it only made it tangle more. I swim near them. Both their heads whip towards me, I see that her silver strand of hair was glowing.

The male covers the female protectively, hissing. Then I hear them talk,

"Don't be scared, she will have to go up for air eventually." he says softly, the mermaid nods gently.

They both look at me expectantly. I didn't have to breath, after all, it was more a habit then an instinct. I kick towards them, passing a very confused looking fish.

"How are you not drowning yet?" the male says, swimming in front of the female to block her from my view. I hesitate,  not being able to speak underwater was something that made it hard to communicate with water sprites.

I point to myself, then to the rope, I motioned. I help her.  He looks dubiously at me, I do it again,  I help her. 

Slowly, but surely. The male moves out the way. I approach the curious female cautiously. I take the rope into my hands and rip it with my vampire strength. Her tail wriggles and I hear her gasp when she sees the scale on my arm. I smile and point upward.

When I got to the surface, I was soaking wet. I didn't exactly care though. I sit on the edge of the land near the lake and put the straw that was in the blood bag into my mouth. The still cold blood quenched my burning throat immediately. 

"Thou art my sister-in-arms??" she asks carefully.

"Mhm." I say, my mouth still sucking the straw.

"Thou art what species?" she asks again, the merman was holding the mermaid's waist.

"Mm. I'm a vampire." I smile at her, unsheathing and showing her my fangs. "But, I don't get something. What is a mermaid, a sea creature. Doing in a lake?" 

"Ah, that." she blushes, "I admit, I did turn 18 a few days ago and Reef and I decided to try out my teleportation powers. I accidentally teleported myself to a lake instead of another part of the sea and got stuck in the meshes."

"Oh. Interesting." I say. I realize now that the sun was almost at its highest peak, I shiver at it, "I have to go, my sister will worry." I say as I get up, still soaking wet.

"Wait, we shall come with thee." She says firmly. She heaves herself up beside me. The male does so as well. 

Their tails start to split right in the middle. Soon, they were in their human forms. They both had clothes on, thank Dianna, the same colors as their scales. The girl had pink pastel jeans and a gold top. The boy, Reef, had white jeans and a blue shirt. The only hint that they were creatures of the sea, were the scales that were on their forearms and their eyes which looked like cats' eyes.

"Where is thee home?" she asks.

"Babe, your, not thee." Reef says gently, I realize now that they were much like vampires with their seductive voices.

She hesitates, "But your belongs to the front part of the sentence..." she trails of when he gives her a look, she sighs, "Yorr. Better? Yorr." he only sighs.

"Well, it's over there." I say, "I forgot to ask thy- I mean you, ugh." I shake my head, it took over a century to get rid of the old English that my mom had raised me with.

"What is your name?" I manage to ask finally,

"Ah, my name is Sirena, daughter of the General Row and thy? What is the name of thee?" she asked me, wobbling a bit before Reef wrapped his arm around her waist while giving her another stern look, "Yes, yes, fine, what is yorr  name?" 

"Babe, your not yorr." he says exasperated.

"I do not hear the difference." she says, "What is thee name?" she asks me, 

"We have to get that weird Old English potion to wear off you." I hear him, Reef, say. I hide a smile.

"My name is Serenity, daughter of Queen Ray and King Stan of the vampires. Nice to meet you." I smile warmly, "I'll show you to my current residence." 

I lead them to the cabin.

"SERENITY f*****g AMBER!" oh s**t, I thought, "WHERE THE f**k HAVE YOU BEEN! I WAS SO f*****g WORRIED THAT YOU WERE DEAD!" it was Alex, standing in the cabin with Violet and Brandon on the couch.

"A-Alex,  w-what are you doing her?" I say as I run and throw myself onto his hard chest. "I missed you." I whimper as I clutch onto him. I feel my eyes sting with tears. I suck a breath in, sobbing quietly. Water was still dripping from my hair and my dress stuck to my legs.

I sniffle and cry into his shirt, "Serenity, baby, you're not crying because I yelled at you, right?" he asked worriedly, 

"No, I-I just missed you, also, I need to tell you something," I look around, everyone was looking at me expectantly, "In private." I add.

"Alright, after you tell me who they are.." he trails off and glares at the couple,

"Oh, Reef and Sirena. Sirena is my sister in arms." I give him a short explanation on what that was, "Reef is her mate." I say finally. Alex relaxes,

"Alright, you can tell me now." he says and immediately I drag him out of earshot of Violet,

"Alex, I don't know how to tell you this, but..." I bite my lip nervously, 

"I think that I might be pregnant..."
