Serenity's p.o.v
"We have to find her, as soon as possibl- ah!" I tried to get out of bed but felt kicking from my stomach, I look down and my stomach had swollen noticeably, "How, what?"
"You've been asleep for almost two months now Serenity." Alex looked like he hadn't slept in weeks, "I was worried that you would never wake up again." His head flops down into my lap, "And then you kept muttering strange things in a strange voice, I thought you were going insane." he mumbles as if all his strength had left him.
I stroke his hair gently. Combing it with my fingers. Suddenly, my ears picked up the sound of two very familiar voices and two unfamiliar ones. I immediately looked to the door just as it bursts open,
"Oh my baby!" the woman says loudly, startling Alex who rose his head in alarm, "Oh, a wolf." she says with a tight smile.
"Hello mother, father." I nod to both of them politely and take Alex's hand and squeeze it, "Alex, this is my mother, Rey Sera, and my father, Sworen Amber, mother, father, this is my mate." The look of disgust wasn't overlooked,
My mother had navy blue hair and red eyes and father had blood red hair and soft silver eyes.
Sirena, Violet and Alissa comes rushing in,
"Oh, hey you're awake!" Alissa says with a smile, while Sirena and Violet start yelling curses upon curses on how I worried them to death before calming down,
"Anyways," Alissa says, rolling her eyes, "We tried to stop them,"
"But they insisted that they have you transferred back to your kingdom,"
"Sirena, that was last week." Violet says exasperated, "Anyways, they pushed us out of the way and got in, so did, uh, Brandon's parents, they're at the door." I look at the door and see a young couple. I could tell that Alex and Brandon had taken most of their looks from their mother, she had soft brown eyes and straight brown hair, their father on the other hand had dirty blond hair and brown doe eyes.
"Mother, father, why are you here?"
"We got worried honey, especially when we heard you were still in the wolves' pit, we thought the barbarians did something to you." I noticed her eyes flitting quickly towards my stomach and back to my face,
"Although it seems that you're alright, now let's get going." father says to me,
"What do you mean? I'm staying here, my baby will be born here and here only with his or her father." father makes an 'O' with his mouth and nods, he had always been my favorite parent, much more easy-going than mother.
"No.. you are coming back to the palace where you will raise the hybrid." Mother says slowly,
"Oh shut it Rey, your daughter says she wants to stay here, so let her!"
"That's my mother, Elizabeth Manor, and my father, Chancellor Smith." Alex says quietly into my ear,
"Are you telling me what to do with my daughter Elizabeth!"
"Oh I wouldn't dare your highness." she says in a mocking voice,
"Oh you will regret speaking to me like that old woman!"
"You are older then me, by centuries! Who are you calling old you ancient hag!" Elizabeth shouted.
Father and Mr. Smith looked at each other with disgust but otherwise stayed silent and let their mates do the arguing.
"I may be ancient but I look younger than you could ever be old mutt!"
"Go back to the caves you used to live in bloodsucker!"
"How dare you tell me, a royal, what to do!"
"You aren't even a true royal, you just married into the family."
As the two women continue to argue, father and Mr. Smith inch closer to me and Alex and sit down,
"This may take a while." whispered Chancellor,
"They haven't seen each other in years, they'll cool down eventually." muttered father while inching away from Alex's father but staying close to me.
I close my eyes and massage the point in between my brows with my free hand. The baby kicks again and I shift in discomfort. I was getting a headache. I motion to Alex to help me get up, suddenly my throat started to burn so I pointed to the flask beside me where I could smell blood.
I sip it, the noise became a silent hum and came back roaring before I snapped,
"Will you both just shut up! Your infernal yelling is giving me a headache!"
Immediately the two woman shut up and looked at me surprised but otherwise stayed quiet,
"Mother, father, I believe that you both should go back home, I will rejoin you when I can." Father smiles at me and kisses my forehead. He then takes his mate's hand and pulls her out.
"Hey mom." Alex stands up and goes over to Elizabeth and hugs her.
"Oh look at you, you look like you haven't gotten rest in months." she clicks her tongue and attempts to fix his hair. I smother a giggle and Alex looks at me with a playful glare.
The baby kicked again and I put my hands on my stomach. Alex comes over and sits down in his original spot.
"Layla said the baby is due in about 1 and a half months depending on how much the baby grows and develops by then."
"So the exact date would be April 21." he nods and I smile, I look up and see Elizabeth staring at me curiously. "Forgive me for not standing up to greet you but I don't think this idiot." I tilt my chin towards Alex, "would let me move even an inch."
Elizabeth smiles and Chancellor barks a laugh. Alex pouts and flops down onto my lap, "You're right, I won't let you move at all." I laugh and look at him lovingly.
"You are.. different from what I expected. I expected you to be like your mother, unforgiving, cold and ruthless." she pauses as if to organize her words. "Then I thought you'd be like your father and sister, gentle and quiet, but you are neither." I giggle at her words,
"You are right, I am neither my mother nor father, I've been told that I am like my paternal grandmother and grandfather combined. Grandfather was the most dominant on the battlefield and I was trained by him especially, grandmother on the other hand had dominance in the category of the throne, I was trained by her so that I would not turn out like my father or mother."
I look up from Alex's face and to Elizabeth's eyes, "I didn't expect you to be so unbothered by a vampire, two to be exact." Elizabeth slowly goes over to her mate,
"I admit, I'm not exactly comfortable but it helps knowing that my sons trust both of them." she smiles and I smile right back before returning my gaze to Alex's face which was still in a pout and was speaking to the baby in my stomach gently.
"How is your relationship with the pack?" Chancellor speaks up.
I stay silent, how was I going to tell them, Oh, it's great, taking out the fact that I was branded with holy water infused branding metal by them. or maybe Our relationship is fine, other than the constant mockery going on in my mind from the other members.
I finally decided what to say after a few seconds of tense silence, "Not the best, but most don't mind me." I smile tensely but they seemed to buy it.
Alex raised his head, "Layla will be here shortly." he informs me, I nod,
"Well, I suppose we should get going as well, make sure to visit us, and come to us if you ever need help." Chancellor says and both of them rise and walk out the door just as Layla comes in.
She holds my wrist as if to take my pulse then seemed to remember I was undead and blushes.
"The baby is perfectly fine, just make sure to feed and don't take too many risks. You aren't injured anywhere so you can leave whenever you're ready." She takes out the IV from my arm.
"You didn't really need to hook me up to the IV." I say,
"Once a doctor, always a doctor. You're good to go Luna, Alpha." she nods slightly and slips out the room.
I motion to Alex to help me up, instead he bridal carries me out.
As he holds me close to his chest, I spoke, "You said I said strange things, it was only because I saw strange things in my sleep."
He stops outside our house and looks at me, "What do you mean."
"I saw our past lives, it was as if Dianna wanted me to see it." I take a deep breath as Alex puts me down, "I feel like I should tell you what I saw."
We both entered the house and sat down in the living room.
"It started with you, me, Violet and Brandon." I pause, "And Cassanova."
