I couldn't stand it.
I just couldn't stand there and listen to those men gobble and chew Ruby up.
Steve informed me that there was going to be a meeting in the company and I just knew that it was going to be a bloody gang up.
The urge to defend and protect Ruby kicked in and I instantly knew I had to be here.
They were plotting to usurp power and overthrow Henry in his own company. I'm quite sure that they would have also fired Ruby had their evil plan worked.
