After a long and tight hug with Oliver's mother, we broke apart but she was still smiling at me as I nervously tucked my hair behind my ear.
Why is she staring at me?
I hope there's nothing stuck to my teeth.
"Mom, you're making her uncomfortable." Oliver joked as he tickled her side.
"Oh dear. My apologies. She's very beautiful." She said with a smile.
"Thank you ma'am." I blushed at the compliment.
"Mom, meet my fiancée, Ruby Carter, and babe, meet my mom, Josephine Harrison—"
"And his dad, Alfred Harrison." Another voice introduced himself from behind us.
Oliver doubled over in laughter as he went over and gave the older man a hug.
"Please call me Josie, dear. Everyone calls me Josie." Oliver's mom kindly informed me as I nodded with a smile.
