Oliver's POV
Teacher Thorne and I made our way straight to the boardroom as soon as we drove into the company parking lot. According to my watch, we were five minutes late and I'm sure as hell that they were waiting for me.
Stella had texted me with a panicked message of how Ruby had decided to attend the meeting with the board. She tried to stop her but Ruby instead threatened to fire her if she stood in her way.
I was proud to hear that Ruby was defending herself against those shameless old men but at the same time I was pissed off by how they talked down on her just for being a woman. They should be ashamed of themselves.
The moment I spoke all eyes turned to me as Ruby in particular was shocked to see teacher Thorne standing beside me.
"Mr Thorne?" She said in disbelie
