🌙 Prologue The moon was blood-red that night. The forest howled with secrets, shadows curling between the trees like living things. Aria ran. Her lungs burned, her bare feet sliced open on rocks and roots, but she didn’t stop. Not after what he’d done. Not after the Alpha she once called mate had rejected her, broken her in front of the entire pack like she was nothing more than trash. Her chest ached, the ripped bond burning inside her, but worse was the hollow echo where her wolf used to be. She was empty. Shattered. Alone. A snap of branches froze her mid-step. Her pulse roared in her ears as she turned, expecting rogues—or worse, her former pack hunting her down. Instead, three figures stepped into the clearing, tall and terrifying, the air around them vibrating with raw power. Not wolves. Not Alphas. Something older. Stronger. Wilder. Lycans. Her breath caught as the scent hit her—dark spice, wildfire, midnight storm. Her knees buckled, and for the first time in weeks her wolf stirred inside her, howling in desperate recognition. Mate. Three sets of glowing eyes locked onto her trembling form—silver, gold, obsidian. Their gazes burned like chains on her skin. One word rumbled from their throats, deep and primal, spoken in unison as if the forest itself bent to their will. “Ours.” And just like that, Aria’s story truly began.
