Marshall was constantly thinking about a way to connect to the guest. He was strolling inside the room, trying to get back to some other way.
“Sir, may I please know what needs to be conveyed so I can ask our workers to get into the residence and inform the person about the news?” James queried politely.
“The guest is unaware of the dress code and isn't picking the call either. I should inform the person right away.” He explained.
“Noted, sir!” James responded and bowed. He left.
Marshall's phone rang in a flash, and he glanced at his phone and received the call as soon as he acknowledged that the call was from the previous dails.
“Hello!” Marshall spoke in an impetuous tone.
The person on the other side was put into deep thinking as the voice hit the ear wall.
Half an hour prior, Flora was trying to calm herself and drive steadily. The car sped over the plain road in between tranquil trees and the serene sky above. Flora was about to reach the mansion, and it would have taken her more than 30 minutes, but without warning, her car halted. Flora jerked upon the halt and was left into the hands of new problems. She tried to restart her car, but it didn't start up. She was worried now.
“Where on earth will I find new transport on this unlit, gloomy road?” Flora voiced her thoughts. She was tense and panicking being alone in that state.
She opened her car and picked up her purse as she took her phone. She was surprised to see 20 missed calls from some unknown number. Ignoring those calls in palpitations, she clicked on her personal assistant's number.
It rang for seconds, and that made Flora more uncomfortable. She wasn't feeling normal about her situation. Lonely place and alone self always made Flora uncomfortable and edgy. She kept feeling twitchy until someone could pick up the call and speak up. To her aid, a person spoke on call, but it wasn't a female's voice, and so she looked on the screen to check the number. She realized that due to fear and shivering fingers, she pressed the unknown number. She was all ready to cut the call, but..
“Miss. Caddel!” Mr. Marshall spoke.
Flora waited for a minute as she felt the voice and tone to be familiar.
“I am Mr. Marshall Godfrey! Am I audible?” He questioned in a hurried tone.
“Y..es!” She stammered, but she yelled.
Hearing Flora's abnormal voice, Marshall forgot to inform her of the news and asked, “Are you fine, Miss. Caddel?”
“N..o, I am stuck! No one's here and reachable.” Flora once again stammered terribly.
Flora was phobic to such situations; she can't manage a matter where she is all alone in the dark and where her consciousness knows that she is left out.
“Please let me know the place, and I am driving there for you, Miss. Caddel!” He assured her.
“I am just 30 to 40 minutes away from your mansion, and here I am left in a dense place.” Flora explained with her panicked voice.
“Yes, I got it. My assistant will be there. Just be there in the car waiting for the assistant to arrive.” Marshall explained.
Flora didn't answer anything. She took a pause. Her heart hurts with heavy beats.
“Miss. Caddel?” Marshall called.
What's stored for Mr. Marshall and Miss Caddel?
