I lifted my shirt while Nash sat on my bed. He removed the gauze to reveal the tattoo.
“Well?”
“Grammy has an unusual way of making her opinion known.” He chuckled.
“Take a picture, so I can see.”
He snapped a picture on his phone. I lowered my shirt and took a seat next to him. He showed me the image as my mouth dropped open. I had a butterfly with Maggie Gray underneath it. Then I turned to face Nash. “Your grandmother had them put your last name next to my first name?” My eye twitched.
“We’re skipping from the promise ring to the engagement ring.” He smirked.
I rolled my eyes.
“Aww, you need to lighten up.” He nudged my shoulder with his.
“I’ll get used to being a part of this crazy family someday.”
