Crescent high…!
*… but I lost him!* I hear Joyce’s voice.
My eyes snap, I look around and realized I’m still in the school clinic, but I’m laying on a bed.
When did I fall asleep?
“Don’t worry, I’ll get him myself!” Xander said.
I raised my head and saw Joyce standing in front of Xander with her head bowed.
“Joyce? Where did you ran off to?” I asked.
“I wanted to catch the culprit but…”
I cut her off with a loud gasp… I quickly hop off the bed and gently push Xander back down.
He stares at me with a small confused frown.
“Alexa? What are you doing?” Joyce asked.
“He’s badly injured and shouldn’t sitting down for now!” I said worriedly.
