Reginald was the first to react. He immediately rose to his feet, and the other members of Ashbourne followed one after another. Even several of the people who had just been mocking Elena quickly composed their expressions. Marcus Vale was not someone they could simply meet whenever they wished, much less someone they expected to personally attend a private Ashbourne banquet.
“Chairman Vale, I truly didn’t expect you to come here in person.” Reginald stepped down from the main table and extended his hand. “Ashbourne is honored.”
