Chapter 11

Elena raised her head, her bloodied face screaming, eyes red with tears: “She’s just a child… She’s your biological niece!” Diana paused, tilting her head as if observing a broken toy. Her voice was steady, but each word pierced like a blade: “Niece? Elena, don’t be naive. Blood ties in this family have never been free. You should’ve known that the day you chose to marry a castaway Lang wolf.” “I… I loved him,” Elena whispered, lips bleeding from how tightly she’d bitten them. “I don’t need your acceptance… I just want my daughter back…” “Love?” Diana let out a laugh, sharp and shrill like nails scraping glass. “You’re not a genius Omega anymore, Elena. You turned yourself into trash. You should’ve thought of that before giving birth to the spawn of a piece of garbage.” “She’s not garbage!…” Elena shrieked, crawling forward, clutching the hem of Diana’s pants. “Take everything! I’ll sign the share transfer! Please just stop…” Diana pulled her leg back and kicked Elena hard in the chest, sending her sprawling across the floor. Her voice was glacial: “You think I need your signature? The documents are ready. All you need to do is leave your fingerprint. Tonight. Right here. If not—” “What’s left of your daughter will be nothing but an empty corpse!” “STOP! DON’T DO THIS, I’M BEGGING YOU!!” Elena screamed, choking on her own voice, slamming her hands against the glass until they bled. Diana didn’t even blink: “The girl has a mutated gene. She has potential to awaken at peak Alpha level. Maybe even more. A perfect specimen.” Elena collapsed to her knees, clutching her chest as if suffocating: “Stop talking… stop talking…” A slap cracked across Elena’s face—not from Diana, but from a guard behind her. She fell backward, blood spilling from her mouth. “Try screaming again, and we’ve got dozens of ways to shut you up.” The guard growled, yanking Elena up by the hair. Elena gasped, her voice trembling: “I… I’ll sign… Just don’t take any more blood from her. Please let me see her one last time…” Diana lifted her chin, saying nothing. Another kick. Elena crumpled like a broken doll, neck limp. Diana had hated her for so long—for always being better. This was her payback. Watching Elena scream and writhe only thrilled her more. At that moment, a metallic whine rang out from inside. Elena’s head snapped up in panic, seeing her daughter convulsing, limbs curled up in anaphylactic shock. “STOP! DON’T INJECT HER AGAIN! SHE CAN’T TAKE IT!” Elena shrieked in madness, her hands clawing at the glass. A lab tech turned around, confused: “The specimen can’t withstand a high dose. Should we pause?” Diana’s lips curled coldly, eyes sharp as blades: “No need. Push it up by 0.5ml. With a mutation like that, she won’t die.” Elena froze. Her legs buckled. Her child writhed on the table, gagged, unable to even scream. Elena screamed again, her throat hoarse and broken with despair: “Bring me the contract, please!” Diana waved a hand. “Bring the contract.” An assistant approached, holding a fingerprint scanner. Elena trembled, her hands smeared in blood, stretching her thumb toward the device—then hesitated. “Just sign, right?” Elena asked through sobs. “You’ll give her back to me, won’t you?” She pressed her bloodied thumb to the scanner. Beep. The machine turned green. Transfer complete. The documents were swept away immediately, leaving her no chance to retract. Diana smiled: “Good girl. You’ve finally learned your place.” Elena looked at her, whispering: “Give… her… to me…” Diana chuckled softly: “Give? Elena… giving is an act of kindness. I never promised to be kind.” Elena froze, her finger suspended midair. Diana’s smile remained, but her eyes turned ice-cold: “She’ll continue being monitored—at least until her readings stabilize.” “You promised…” “I did. And I kept it—let you see her,” Diana leaned in, whispering: “Don’t dream of walking out of here with her. A broken Omega like you has no right to raise a child with elite genes. Even if you gave birth to her, she’s not yours.” Elena trembled, eyes wide, her voice a strangled whisper: “You can’t…” “I can,” Diana straightened up, not sparing another glance. “Keep her contained. Take good care of her.” She turned and walked away like she had just closed a cold property deal. The door slammed shut behind her. Elena screamed: “I SIGNED IT! GIVE ME BACK MY CHILD! I SIGNED IT!!!” Her voice shrieked through the sterile white walls, unanswered. Instead, several men in protective suits approached, faces expressionless like machines. “She’s a little too noisy. Let’s teach her a lesson.” Elena thrashed, her wrists bound, left only with her legs to kick, head to shake, throat already shredded from screaming. A brutal slap landed on her face, making her cheek swell and blood dribble from her mouth. “Please… don’t hit… don’t… my child…” A punch to the stomach. Elena doubled over, vomiting blood and bile. “You think signing makes you special? Who the hell do you think you are?” “Elena, huh… thought being from a rich family meant something?” “You’re nothing now. Shares signed away, you’re just a stray b***h. A breeding mutt.” The man who’d hit her stared for a moment, then snorted: “Pretty thing. Be a waste not to have a go. Miss Diana said we can take good care of her.” He bent down, tugging at her clothes. Elena thrashed, screamed hoarsely: “NO! STOP! I BEG YOU… DON’T…” She scratched, bit, kicked—but was pinned down. Her eyes wide open in despair, like a beast cornered with no escape. The door… Still closed. No one came. No one heard. No one cared.
