The longer I take, the longer chapters I can write down ^^
All of the reviews last time were positive so I knew I wasn't doing this story wrong. Thank for all who reviewed and I hope you like this chapter too!

My life with the bothers began slightly taking a turn for the better. Ignoring the angry Laito and the annoyed Kanato, the rest of the brothers treated me normally. Subaru noticeably began to treat me better too. At least he stopped shooing me whenever I come to him and his violent acts became lesser. He even agreed to take my offering of sharing my book with him when he forgot it. To me that was a HUGE improvement since the last time I did that, he shot me a furious glare, cursed then stormed out of class.
With that, fixing things with Laito was one of my priorities. And that was because of me not able to deal with the brown-headed vampire perverted tries any longer. I mean, imagine going into the bathroom to have a nice bath, then being welcomed by a grinning Laito who wants to share the bath with you. My reaction was to rush out of the bathroom and delay it to a time he's not around. He also took all of my underwear once and showed them to the entire house. Even the butler saw the whole set! I couldn't hide my embarrassment that day and all of the brothers enjoyed my angry protests. It ended with me taking my things and running upstairs to find a NEW place to hide them.
I actually tried to ask him but his answer was as I expected: "entertain me", he said. I gave him a cold stare before going out of his room and closing the door behind me.
(So asking him wouldn't do me any good after all...) I thought going back to my room.
I laid back on my bed thinking of a safe way to make Laito stop his attacks. After finding out that staring at the ceiling wouldn't help, I got out of my room and wandered around the house.
Wondering and wandering, I spent the next hour walking around in the hallways. That's when I realized something: I was bored.
The manor's decorations were inspired from the old ages as anyone could tell, but to make it worse, it also followed the old times in having no sort of entertainment. And if it had some, I wasn't allowed to touch any. The HUGE cupboard that was full of book in Reiji's room was a good example. No matter how hard I tried, he wouldn't let me read one. That's why I tried to steal from them once. My try ended up as a failure as Reiji sensed my presence and caught me red-handed. What happened next wasn't so Reiji as he took the thick book I tried to steal and slammed its edge on my head. I took the painful hit then looked shocked towards Reiji. My shock doubled as I saw that smile that ONLY Reiji could smile. He clearly liked my reaction so he chuckled. I narrowed my eyes and left the fake butler-like vampire as he was still busy laughing at me.
Remembering that, a good idea came to me that will let me fix things with Laito and give Reiji a little payback. It was dangerous but I did things crazier before so I didn't hesitate for a second. It would be nice if I got Ayato's help in what I had in mind but then I decided to work alone after recalling Subaru's looks when I told him about my time with his brothers.
My first destination was Laito's room. Getting what I wanted wasn't hard as I knew that in every corner of his room, he hid one of his 'special' things. Before going to that luxurious bat cave, I made sure that Laito went to have a bath. It was simple to guess since I saw him getting in with roses; the brunette had a strange habit of bringing roses into his bath. I didn't know why though, maybe because he simply liked them?
When I made sure that he got in and won't be out for a while, I went into his room and looked under his bed, as it was the most obvious place. To my luck, I quickly found a green box. When I opened it, my face twisted in disgust as I saw dozens no tons of them. I took the first three and closed the box then returned it like nothing happened.
My second destination was Reiji's room. What I was going to do was simple: I would ask him again for permission to read something and then sneak the things I got from Laito's room between his books. Simple, but needed a little planning. The hard part was how to make Laito come to Reiji's room on his own and notice them before Reiji. To my luck, it was Reiji who made my job easier as I knew that with us getting the results of the recent exams he would call his brothers to scold them for their shameful marks. It was a thing I heard from Shuu as he was telling me why studying was too bothersome.
The plan seemed perfect to me so I felt confident as I knocked onto Reiji's door. Reiji, as usual, ignored me for a while but gave in when he saw that I wasn't going anywhere. "How many times do I need to tell you not to disturb my work?" He said annoyed.
"I'm sorry but it's your fault I'm visiting you a lot these days."
"My fault? How so?" He said raising an eyebrow.
"Books." I said directly.
He stared for a second then sighed. "No."
"Please?"
"I refuse. Go back to your room."
"Why?! I've been behaving myself lately and I even did good on my exams! Please! Just one book! Give me the silliest book you have! I don't mind! Just please give me something to read..." I begged and got closer to his desk.
"Behaving yourself...?" He said giving me a bored look.
I smiled nervously as I knew that 'behaving' wasn't the right word for my actions those days. "Okay forget that part... the other things are all true!"
Reiji bored look didn't change. "I believe it's amateurs luck that got you through your recent tests. Not to add that you mentioning that you want to read a silly book proves how uncivilized you are. Besides, this library holds NO silly books." He finished and fixed his glasses.
I felt embarrassed as he countered back every word I said and used it against me. But I was close to finish my job so I needed a little bit more. "I know all of your books are magnificent! I just said that to show you that I'll be satisfied with anything. I would also do anything to get my hands on one book!" I said getting closer to the desk again.
"You would do anything?" Reiji said as his eyes glowed.
"Y-yeah... as long it's appropriate..." I said feeling nervous a little.
Reiji's bored gaze turned into an amused one. "Then... be my maid for a day." He said crossing his legs.
My jaw dropped. "What...?"
"As you heard. If you agree to be my maid for a day and comply with my requests, I would think about lending you a book of mine." He said smiling that smile again. I felt shivers traveling across my spine hearing and seeing that.
Thankfully, I finally was able to slip my present between Reiji's books so I no longer needed to be there. "You're no different from any of them."
The sadistic raven-headed vampire didn't like that one. "I would recommend that you do not compare me to my ill-mannered brothers. But your sentence may hold some truth as I..." he said and in a moment I felt his breath on my ear. "... am I vampire too..."
I froze in my place. The situation got really dangerous without me noticing. Inside, I was screaming mentally and blaming myself for saying stupid stuff.
"Ill mannered? Then what do you call this, tableware-otaku?" I quickly turned when I heard Ayato's voice. He was in front of the newly opened door with the rest of his brothers. I smiled inwardly as I was saved.
When he heard Ayato's mocking sentence, Reiji backed away from me neck and shot a glare towards his younger brother. "I believe you were taught to knock the door before entering someone else's room?" Reiji said changing the topic.
"We wanted to knock, but then we smelled b***h-chan in here so we HAD to know what was going on inside~" Laito said grinning. "And if you're not going to tell us, b***h-chan will. Right, b***h-chan?"
"Nothing happened. I was just begging him to lend me a book, again, then he started to act like that. You guys came before he could do anything." I said honestly, mostly.
With the tip of my eye, I looked at Subaru, who seemed relieved that nothing happened. "Books again? You read enough of that s**t everyday at school." Subaru then said and I had to avert my eyes quickly so he won't notice my stares.
"I do. But on weekend days like this, I won't have anything to read. And for me, that is torture."
Ayato rolled his eyes. "Enough of the book talk." He said ending the conversation. "You said you wanted us to come, so get on with this." Ayato said looking at Reiji.
Reiji fixed his glasses. "That is true indeed. Please, give me a moment..." Reiji said going to his desk. From a drawer, he pulled out a pile of sheets.
"Oh no..." Kanato said quietly finally speaking.
"Fuck..." Subaru cursed as usual.
"Dammit!" Ayato yelled.
"I-I just remembered that I needed to do-" Laito tried to open the door as he was saying that, bit was stopped by Reiji.
"No one is going anywhere." Reiji said, eyes glowing. "Everyone sit." Reiji said firmly. When he got no reaction, he repeated his command with an angry tone. Everyone sat afterwards. I backed away for a bit and sat to observe what Yui told me that it was one of the longest lectures Reiji gives every year. "Anyone cares to explain this to me?" Reiji asked waving the exam papers with his hands.
"..." no one spoke.
"Good. So you have no excuses to give?" Reiji said raising his eyebrows.
"I-I was busy with some girls so I didn't really have time for tests..." Laito was the first one who spoke.
"Brilliant. Anyone else?"
"Just give me a break! You do this every year knowing that no one can stand classes but you! Why can't just let it go?!" Ayato yelled irritated.
"Please mind your manners. Does anyone has something to add?" Reiji said and I felt like he'll explode soon.
"Teddy and I... didn't feel like studying this year..." Kanato whispered.
Shuu and Subaru didn't say a word. Shuu's reason, for both failing his exam and refraining to give an excuse for himself was simple: he was sleeping. Subaru, well... The guy hated classes and ditched a lot so it was normal for him to get bad marks.
"You did not feel like studying the last year, Kanato. Also, Laito, this is the exact same excuse you give me every time. You think I won't notice you rephrasing the sentence every time? And Ayato, you are a Sakamaki, you NEED to endure classes for the best of the family." Reiji said replying to his brothers. "Anything to add?" He asked once again. "Nothing? Excellent." He said and in a second, his calm expression changed into an angered one.
His long chain of scoldings came afterwards. My eyes widened at the sight of the very angry Reiji destroying the ears of his brothers. I even caught some curses here and there between his words.
But I can't deny that enjoyed the show. The brothers, despite acting all tough with me, seemed to be affected by Reiji's harsh words. Subaru, scratched his cheek from time to time telling me that he was nervous. Kanato clutched his teddy bear to his chest and stared at Reiji silently. Ayato wouldn't even look Reiji in the eye. Laito kept smiling stiffly. Shuu, even with him being acting like he was asleep, I could tell that he was listening to every word Reiji said and was bothered by it.
I sat away feeling a little proud that I didn't end up with them. As if the brothers read my mind, they all looked at me when Reiji finished. "And why is she not getting any of this?" Laito asked.
Reiji gave me a quick look before averting his attention back to his brothers. "It is since she unexpectedly, did well in her tests, unlike the rest of you."
"Huh? b***h-chan did? Well... it's not that unexpected since b***h-chan loves book and texts." Laito said grinning. "Maybe I would make you tutor me later on, b***h-chan." He winked while saying that.
"If she'll tutor anyone, it would be no one but ore-sama! Got that, hot pants?!" Ayato said glaring at Laito.
"Nope~ She wants to stay with me, darty butt. Right, b***h-chan?"
"You both shut the f**k up! How can she, a first year, take care of two second years like you airheads?!" Subaru said and I thought he was defending me. "To avoid this s**t next time, she'll help only me!" My hopes shattered as I realized that he surprisingly, wanted me to help him too.
"She should teach us in the tea party we will have soon. Ne, teddy?" Kanato said smiling 'cutely' so I ended up taking that as a threat.
Shuu didn't say anything but opened one eye to look at me. He closed it after delivering his massage.
Voices went up as the brothers tried to decide things WITHOUT my opinion. If I were to chose, I would chose to run with my life and leave the guys to suffer low grades alone. But I couldn't do that of course so I continued to observe quietly the second show of the night.
"Enough! If you are that desperate, I can be of assi-"
"NO!" Everyone said at the same time. I chuckled but stopped when I noticed Reiji glaring at me.
"If you do not want my help, it's your choice. Just do not regret this later." Reiji said putting back the papers into his drawer. While he was doing that, he accidentally moved the books on his desks. I screamed in happiness in my mind as Laito finally noticed his things between Reiji's books. I got certain of my guess when I saw the nervous smile on Laito's face become a devilish smirk. "This concludes today's discussion. You may leave now." He called it a discussion, but it was more like a one-sided debate to me.
"You want us to leave already? Too bad~ I thought you were going to tell us about your new hobbies~" Laito said slyly.
No one, including Reiji, knew what Laito was talking about. "What hobbies?" Reiji asked innocently.
Laito giggled. "These..." Laito said pulling his adult magazines out from the pile of books. "You could've told me that you got into this stuff and I would've bought you good ones. No need to steal theses from my box..." Laito said waving that thing around.
Reiji's face was PRICELESS! "Wha... I cannot... how..." words fell out of his mouth like shattered glass. The rest of his brothers gave him disappointed and angry looks. "Do not look at me like this! I know nothing of these! One of you must've placed this in here!" Reiji shouted angrily.
"Nfu~ no need to be shy about it, Reiji~ I already knew that this part of you will awaken someday..." Laito said giggling.
"Do not mock me!" Reiji responded harshly, his blush more visible than ever.
"But hey... you got some taste here... this big breasted chick looks good..." Ayato said taking a look at the magazine.
"Yep. I have some more magazines of big bust girls. Want me to-"
"NO! Give me those along with all of the others so I can burn them to ashes!" Reiji said as he lost his cool completely.
"You sure want to burn them or take them all and enjoy every page?" Laito sly manner didn't change despite his favorite things being on stake.
When Reiji heard that, he blushed some more before yelling loudly: "OUT! ALL OF YOU!"
The next second we were all out. After the strong outburst, I went far from Reiji's room, then started to laugh loudly. His expression was more than what I had in mind! I laughed every time I remembered it but stopped when I realized something: Reiji wasn't stupid and he'll find out what happened in a short time. I gulped imagining him glaring at me with his furious scarlet eyes holding the whip in his hands.
"I knew something was off. Despite how much I want Reiji to go out of his manner shell and read something good, he would never do neither place it in an obvious place like his table." Laito said coming from behind me Subaru behind him.
"Says the one who hides those under his bed." I said making him notice how stupid his last comment was.
Laito rubbed his head. "But that was amazing! Tell me b***h-chan, why did you do this to Reiji?"
"Books." I quickly replied.
"Tch! Again?!" Subaru said rolling his eyes.
"That and Laito's request..." I said talking to myself. I found out that I was wrong as I saw the two brothers staring me. Subaru crashed a near wall for no reason.
"My request...?" Laito said confused.
"Yes. You said that you wanted me to entertain you didn't you?" I said acting dumb as I didn't know what that referred to.
"The f**k-" Subaru yelled and was about to yank Laito from his place but he was interrupted by Laito's sudden laughter.
"You actually... took that seriously..." Laito managed to say. "You even... understood it wrong..."
Subaru left the laughing Laito to fall on the floor and gave me an "explain" look. That's why I gave him a quick summary to what happened.
"You're afraid of this joker?" Subaru said raising an eyebrow.
"I'm more afraid of him stealing my underwear again."
Subaru blushed slightly when I mentioned the word underwear, but then he said nothing as a response and silently glared at his still laughing brother.
"b***h-chan, b***h-chan, b***h-chan... You're making my days more interesting every time! Your crazy acts along with your innocent character makes me rethink about..." he stopped and went closer to my ear. "... breaking you soon..."
Cliffhanger? Maybe, not very sure. Reiji's lecture appeared in a pic I saw once and stuck in my head so I wanted to try and write it in one of my fanfics. Was it convincing enough? In my opinion, it was reasonable to think that only Reiji would have good marks after seeing the others attitudes. If you noticed, I also skip a lot of blood sucking scenes. That is because I don't like them. That results in me only writing those parts when critically needed. What I'm trying to say is that even without me writing those parts, you need to know that Nami suffered tons of blood sucking, especially from Laito recently. Just saying so everybody knows. Also, for Reiji telling Nami to be his maid, well... I know that Ayato is suited for saying that more that Reiji but I wrote it based on a pic that I saw too! Sorry if I got that wrong.
Please leave a review to tell me what you thought. I'll try to update earlier next week. Thanks for the support!
