Her First and Last

Who is he?

"Good morning class. Based on the groupings, I believe we all know where we belong, have gotten our topics and started working on it because all those were communicated to you through your course rep. Ethan may I hear from you please."

Ethan, the course rep stands up boldly and replied, "Yes, Ma'am, I communicated everything to them and we are all aware of the combined departmental grouping and I must confess, we are happy about it."

"Okay, that's good then, you have the procedures with you, work together as a team and submit your reports in two weeks. Have a nice day."

The whole class became rowdy as everyone was trying to locate their group and have a meeting in preparation for the task at hand. Each group had a leader that all reported to Ethan, the Faculty Course Rep, FCR.

This task was organized in a way that all the departments in the medical science faculty were involved. It was fun and enlightening.

The place was still quite rowdy as students were countering the opinions of their group leader.

"Mehn!.... I'm so tired, this students just keep making things difficult for me, I have already carefully planned how this task would be sorted out successfully and yet, they just keep messing things up, it's quite annoying. What do you think I should do?" lamented Eric.

"Well.... okay, I think you should just try to hear them out and make them see why your plan is the best to ensure a completion of the set task. You know, I'm not really in your field, but I have a friend who could help out. I'll arrange a time for you both to meet. Is that okay, group leader?" replied Bob, Eric's roomie.

"Of course that's okay, It's just two weeks but I want a very excellent result within this time. Thank you so very much, Snr. Bob, I really do appreciate" said Eric.

"Okay, you're welcome and that's enough, may we eat, I'm starving?...." replied Bob

"On it, Snr..." said Eric and he headed to the canteen.

Then a young lady approached him beaming with smiles, greeted and asked if they could talk for a while, but he refused because he was in a hurry. Due to much persuasion by the young lady, insisting on being brief, he accepted and sat with her.

She smiled a little and spoke up, "I really do admire you, and sincerely I am impressed with your idea on the group project, but I don't see reasons while most aren't. Well, I'll support you in any possible way I can, so I need you to relate the plan better to me so I can put myself in the picture."

Eric was stunned for a moment, looking at the familiar face before him that he has been ignoring like she never existed even though, she was already giving him green lights and now she's making such a request, even agreeing to support him, he was speechless and then spoke up, "I've heard you, I'll think about it and give you a reply. Meanwhile, I'll relate the plan to the group more clearly, so you can probably hear it better next time. Have a nice meal." and tried leaving but was held by the wrist.

"I respect your decision. But can I have your number so we could chat more please?" said the young lady.

"How would that even happen?, I won't give you, sorry. Like I said earlier, I'll relate the plan to the group more clearly, and you can pay more attention then, okay?" and pulled his hands.

Turning to leave, she blocked him and said, "I must say, you are very handsome and I want to be closer to you..."

Eric just gave her a stern look and warned her to not hold his hand like that again and left.

Sarah and Mira were just coming in but he was backing them and when he finally turned to leave, he bumped into Sarah and Mira was about exploding but then she looked at his face and recalled the shuttle experience and withdrew.

Whereas, his eyes were still fixed on Sarah when he heard his name and turned then smiled and left, turning to the direction of the call and he met the hungry Bob and since he was already there, they just grabbed a seat and ate there.

But when he turned, Sarah had already left. One could say he didn't even notice she was with someone, because he literally didn't even spare the other a glance.

Bob saw the happy expression on Eric's face and wondered what happened. Recalling the lady Eric stared at as the same lady that got Mike upset, he just couldn't help but wonder who she was and decided to clear his curiosity by asking.

"Eric, what's with the happy face, I don't think I've ever seen you this happy before and seeing you lost looking at a lady, is there something I'm not aware of?"

Eric smiled and narrated how they met and he wasn't able to get her contact but really wants to, now.

Bob just stared in bewilderment and wasn't even able to say anything for the first few seconds. After much thoughts considering the fact that Mike made it seem like he wasn't really interested in her, he decided to allow the young man before him have her.

He finally spoke up, "do you know where she stays or her department?, you could meet her up, get her details and follow her up till she's yours."

Eric spoke up and said "Ah!, Senior, that's too direct" wondering how he would do all of those without beating around the bush.

"Alright, stay and take your time, slowly and slowly till you hear that she's dating the most powerful student here, Mike. Just so you know, he's interested in her and in just a matter of time, she'll be his, so continue to take your time, I'm off!"

Eric was shocked and couldn't help but recall the words, "he's also interested in her and in a matter of time, she'll be his."

He just concluded, well, "she is beautiful and would like to be owned by any reasonable guy in her level, but Mike, how can this be?, he doesn't even have interests in ladies, talk less of a lady below his level. It's really hard to believe, but why won't I believe, besides, Mike and Bob are very close friends. This was unexpected, so what do I do now?."

Just as he was about leaving, he saw a familiar face but just acted like he never saw it, avoiding any further discussion with this person and left.

Meanwhile, Esther was ignored to the prime. She just finished talking to Eric, then he bumped into a lady and couldn't stop looking at her until his name was called. But then, she remembered the lady to be the same person Mike couldn't stop staring at. She wondered what kind of charm this lady had that could make handsome and honourable guys in the school stare at her ignoring any other person whatsoever besides them.

"What the hell!, are there still more secrets left for you to hide from me?. Now tell me, why was that guy staring at you that way?. Sarah, it was Mike the other day and today, another, what's going on?" thundered Mira.

"I really don't seem to understand why you are angry, I told you I'm not interested in Mike, he can stare at me for all I care. And for the other guy, hmmm!, well, that was the other guy I talked about that day..."

"What do you mean by the other guy, who is he?" said Mira

"Okay, his name is Eric...I think Eric Peters, the one I bumped into, the first day of school. Now you know. What's with the anger, did you know him?.....iiii...I also noticed you wanted to say something but kept quiet, what's the issue, is there something I'm not aware of?, Now tell me what you are hiding, Mira...."

The latter replied "Oh really!, is that all that happened between you two?"

"Of course, yes!, what else where you expecting?. Mira, for the last time, what's going on?"

"Uhm... nothing really, it's just that, this Eric of yours is the same person as the shuttle guy, the one I've been wanting to apologize to. Can you help me out, please?...I just want to free up that guilt and live a happy life like you are doing. I believe that's not too much to ask or is it?" asked Mira

"Of course, it's not. I'll think of a plan." replied Sarah.

"Okay, thank you!" said Mira

"I'm starving, can we eat now?" asked Sarah and Mira replied in the affirmative and they both sat and ate quietly.

After eating, they discussed about school for a while and then Sarah headed for the bathroom, while Mira just randomly viewed photos on her phone but she was wasn't paying attention to it, instead she wondered why it was just Sarah that these big guys were attracted to. And thought to herself that Sarah was obviously the lady Eric was lost in thoughts about that he didn't even know when he had started speaking out. To crown it all, this was the first time they were meeting, it's not like he knew about her performance in secondary school or something related to it. But she couldn't help but agree that Sarah was beautiful, but not as her or even more than she, Mira is. She possesses the figure one would call figure eight, very nice curves and good height, suitable for any guy, she was far taller and curvier than Sarah, so she didn't seem to understand much. And she was also sporty, someone that could probably match up Mike's spec one day, whereas Sarah wasn't.
