I was standing beside bed while doctor is checking veronica’s pulse and necessary other tests are running....
I am sweating due to tension, I hope she is fine and Nothing is serious .
When doctor finished her work .
" how is she doc ? And why is she unconscious ?"
I asked her.
"don't worry, Mr. Knight ! your wife is perfectly fine, nothing serious, but yes she is overstressing and not eating well that’s why her body gave up on her. " she replied with a genuine smile and I sighed in relief.
when she reached at the door, She turned around and gently conveyed those words" And Mr. Knight ! your wife is really beautiful,you are one lucky man"
I just smiled at her ....
When she completely walked out of the door , i took a seat beside her bed and again , took her hand
