*SPEACIAL EASTER EPISODE*

Maria's point of view (Avarina's mother) We looked at Avarina with her mate and pups, over joyed that our daughter was able to find such happiness. My husband held my hand and twined his fingers with mine. "Well Maria. Did you ever think we'd be watching our daughter decorate eggs with children of her own?" I laughed. We both knew the answer to that one. "No. A husband yes, but not children." For a long time, Ava had been told she shouldn't have children by that imbecile Morrice. But with Aries, she has the confidence of a super model. Johan and I were just happy to be apart of their children's first Easter. "Granny granny!" Little Lilly ran up to me with a pink colored egg that had flowers and swirls on it. "Look at my pretty egg!" I couldn't help the smile that had permanently glued itself to my face. Alex was sitting at the table with his tongue out focusing on decorating his own egg. "How is it coming my little prince? I asked my grandson. He merely grunted his answer. "He does that when he trying to focus momma." Ava was helping Aries peel some eggs at the sink. All in all this was shaping up to be the most wonderful Easter we have had. As the evening went on, more family and friends arrived at the castle to visit the children and spend the holiday with us. It was nice to have the castle bustling with life again. Avarina's point of view The look on mother and fathers face was all I could ask for. They were happy and content given the utter bullshit this year had thrown at us. The pups are walking and talking at only a year old. It was astounding. But Aries told me it was very common for wolf pups and wolf hybrids to start at about this age. The first three years they have accelerated growth and development then they slow down until age six. I was happy to have him. He alleviated so many worries I had as a mother it was unreal. I nuzzled his cheek and let a low tender growl rumble in my chest. A wolfish sign of affection. He responded with a chuff. Over the course of the day the kids did an Easter egg hunt, opened Easter baskets, and even pelted a few of the relatives with cooked eggs. They were scolded of course but Aries and I had a good laugh about it later. Easter for us had turned out to be a good day full of lave and laughter. It was a promise that the rest of the year would be full of wondrous times. And I honesty couldn't wait.
