Chapter Nine: Bullshit and Motherhood

I laid asleep with my pups laying on my chest. My little girl and boy. My tiny babies wouldn't shift until six weeks old, so I just enjoyed their furry selves for now. "Three more weeks to go and we'll have human babies." I smiled as I slowly opened my eyes. "Yea. I had no idea that I would give birth to actual puppies." "Well female wolves normally shift and give birth. So it would make sense they spend that time as a wolf." "We're also the only vampire wolf couple to have a child. The others were found out and killed." We both fell silent at that. The war had taken millions of lives, some of them just for being in love. With our marriage they were now free to be with each other and our people would stop dying. "Let's not think about that. Let's focus on our children." He nodded and climb into the bed beside me. "Do you want to take them into the garden?" "We can." I got up to get dressed after handing the babies to him. I put on a pair of bluejeans cut offs and a simple t-shirt. I grabbed one baby and he held the other. They had gotten significantly bigger, Their eyes were open, and they responded to their names. "Alexander is a chunky boy." "Alexander? What about Lillyanna?" I giggled and nuzzled the baby in my arms. Two months went by in a peaceful haze. The babies had shifted normally, crawling around like little speed demons. They were growing fast and it was saddening. Motherhood was wonderful. I smiled at Aries while we were in bed, happy that I was able to marry my mate this young. "What?" I shook my head. "Nothing." The next morning we walked side by side through the castle halls, smiling at the servants that past. "You lying son of a b***h!" Suddenly a female walked up to us and slapped him. "Do you have a death wish?" I asked calmly. "Not only did you slap the crown prince, but had you missed and hit our daughter." I didn't think I needed to continue. But obviously I did. "And just who the f**k are you?" "I've been here for eight almost nine moths. It's no secret that I'm his wife." "Are you f*****g serious? So you've been dodging me this whole time, only to be shacked up with this slut?" "Watch your tongue Azrah." I looked at Aries with a "you better start talking look". "This is my EX." He emphasized the word ex. "No Im not your ex. I just arrived after your mother told me about this little... thing." She eyed me up and down. "She was right about her though. Hideous." "Excuse me. You're in MY castle, insulting me in front of MY husband. I can't believe this. Even this far away your mom is causing trouble." The female crossed her arms and tapped her foot. "Give her that ugly little thing in your arms and let's go." We had had enough. We walked around the female. But didn't make it very far. She grabbed Aries arm, causing him to lose his grip on our baby girl. He caught her and we both breathed a sigh of relief. The look I saw in his eyes I will never forget, nor do I want to see ever again. He spun to the female and grabbed her by the neck. He casually walked over to a large window while instructing a servant to open it. The man had seen what happened and gladly obeyed. The palace staff loved our babies. Aries held the female out of the open window that was at least fifty feet off the ground. He then threw her up so that he could grab her ankle. "Should you survive this, stay away from me and my family." He dropped the female to her death and walked on like nothing had happened. "You just threw someone out of a window." "She made me drop my daughter." He nuzzled the little girl in his arms. "I know love. I'm just saying." "You want to know who she is?" "Yes. I don't care that threw her out of the window, I just want to know why she made a scene." "My mom. Im about to go home and have her ass committed.
Sorry this chapter was so short and updates have been slow. Im trying to get caught back up on the chapters. Just bear with me guys. <3
