“More than likely,” said Mark, “both parties will have different agendas in mind. If we get the backing of our government then at least you’ll be serving a purpose that you were created for.”
“What, are you telling me that my choices are death, confinement, or servitude? Wow, Mark, you know how to woo a girl over. Look, I didn’t get asked or volunteer for what I’ve become. True, there is much that I don’t remember about the days leading up to this. What I do remember is who I am…and what I had.”
“Sara, I know that you’re a victim of circumstances. It was a desperate act of our government to create something they themselves did not understand. Just remember, like you, there are others in the same predicament and with you to help us, we could save them.”
