When Core was the head of security of CTC, Nakita nearly slit his throat as she tried to escape. She wanted to find her friend Levia, who was also in the Living Metal Program. Nakita came inches away from killing him when she saw his piercing blue eyes and stop. It reminded her of Levia’s eyes and when she realized that it was Core, Kyan’s younger brother she backed off.
