Chapter 7: Because of youBack at the junkyard, Mark and Sara are in an old warehouse used for striping down old cargo ships. Long before they met with Sara, Alex had this place redone into a research center. This was the only area somewhat safe enough to test Sara’s abilities.
Set up in a control booth above in the center of the room was Mark. He was setting in electromagnetic filters into the new scanning equipment. In a few minutes, Mark would be testing out some of Sara’s abilities and these filters would be strong enough to protect from any EMP that Sara would give out.
“Okay, Sara, I’m ready up here,” said Mark as he turned on the cameras.
